the other day I dreamt about a snake head in my apt and i could not get it up for the life of me. Every time i would try to pick it up it would open its mouth to bite. Harley my dog was trying to get it but I got him away and then got a ziploc bag to put the head in.
I finally got it into the ziploc then it opened its mouth and tried to bite.
what does this mean?

I'll stick with my interpretation of the other dream. You perceive someone out there as a threat. Even away from their body, the head is potent and a threat. This could be a family member, that you feel in some way can harm you even without the support of the rest of the family (the "body" that's missing). Even when you think you have it caught (in the ziploc bag), you perceive that person as being dangerous somehow.

Snake represents deceit, deception, and lies. To see only the head of a snake represents "beginning or main influence" of a deception which is trying to get started in your life. If you get bit by a snake it represents that you have fallen under the power of a deception.

You have a fear that something is going to "get you".
Fear of snake is one of the most common fears to have. I believe it's in the top 10, if not top 5.
