Anyone else notice atheists are especially angry today? I'm thinking maybe they all got grounded by their parents. Any suggestions?

I agree.
I guess maybe I stirred them up a bit--albeit naively and unintentionally. "Angry/Intolerant non-believers?"
(See my similar question if you can find it--sorry I'm too new at this forum to know how to refer you or link you to my question.)

My explanation of the question "misery loves company" theory somehow must have gotten a little too close to them.

But my ? was posed because I was seeing the same thing you did prior to that. The Bible-bashers seem way more intolerant than any so-called Bible-thumpers I have seen so far since I discovered this site.....yikes can't we feel free to express our own beliefs and exchange ideas with others without all the hostility?

Stirring the pot I see. Maybe they just can not stand Christian response today or maybe they got a wedgie or sat on a tack.

Or maybe their just tired of so called "Christians" posting questions that are specifically for "picking at them".
