How much do BRACES cost?

in Canada. Are there ones less than $6000, or is it usually more? And are they very uncomfortable by the way? I'm 18 and I really want them.

can get them at half price, under $3,000.

Don't know what they cost in Canada but it depends on the severity of the occlusion and type of treatment plan you need. I have a son in braces now with what is considered a middle of the road problem . Our 3 year treatment window from evaluation to final removal of the retainer is $4,000 dollars U.S. If you have a lot of work done to move teeth that have shifted or you require removal of wisdom teeth I would think around $6,000. and we had to have $1,500 up front before we started.

i have clear ones ceramics.i guess it depends on which [art of the world u live in . i come from st lucia in the eastern caribbean and we us the Eastern Caribbean Dollar as our local currency 2.67 ECD is 1 USD. mine costs $5000 ECD plus damages (which i've never had) it sounds expensive but i pay them in monthly installments of $225 ECD per month so i can pay them off next year and its not as bad as it sounds. they are virtually invisible so i'm good with it.
