My cat has just had kittens but I cant take off her labour coat, when will these come off and should i burn it, it says in my cat book that i should burn any labour coats in the fire?

Your cat is fine. Cats have had kittens for thousands of years without humans to assist them.

hmm.. just leave the momma to do her job, she'll naturally know what to do.

(what the heck is a labor coat? the placenta maybe? mom usually eats those).
