I love it. They tell it like it is. Classrooms are for facts, not faith. It isn't the place of public institutions to teach personal beliefs.

So how much do ya'll really know about the "lies" of Creationism? Other than the fact that it is taught from Genesis in the Bible that it is just full of more "lies" and "contradictions"? Have you actually taken the time and actually check it out for what it is or are you scared of being led to feeling guilty for the sinful lives you live? I've been down that atheistic/agnostic road when I grew up and thought I knew it all too and that religion was just a figment of our imagination and a tool to use in getting people motivated in war. Don't misjudge God's ways for what man chooses for himself. My real question is why are these supposively "advanced in intelligence" evolutionists always angry? Why do they always have to convey their beliefs, yes beliefs, upon everyone with hateful remarks. Creationists aren't all stupid ignorant people. There are real scientists with degrees and doctorates from the same major univeristies as the secular ones and receive the same recognition. Science is Science and they don't twist the facts to fit. I'm just asking ya'll to truly think for yourselves instead of jumping on the bandwagon. I wasn't indoctrinalized in any religion as a child or teen and always accepted evolution until a few months ago. So you can throw that card out. God is perfect, Humans are not. Go ahead push on with you're agenda's, you'll just be fulfilling Scripture that was written almost 2,000 years ago. Thanks for boosting my faith!

I wish they would do that here. They're right. It isn't the place of the public schools to teach religious beliefs. That's what their churches are for. I've noticed that all of these people rely on the public schools to teach their children everything and then blame "the banning of prayer from schools" on why their own morals are shot to hell. What a friggin joke.

To the one who claims "creationism is the truth" and insinuating that evolution is just a theory. Prove your God exists. Until then, your belief is "just a theory" (I am using YOUR definition of theory here... not the scientific definition... you obviously don't know what the hell the scientific definition of theory is).

Wow... and I was just reading about how our Democratic candidates are starting to reach out for the religious vote by going to churches and professing their faith. Is it any wonder why the Swedes have a much better standard of living than we do?

Now God will hate those evil Swedes even more than he already does! He hates Sweden already for tolerating homosexuals, you know. Maybe he'll create another tsunami in the Indian Ocean to kill some more of them! So what if a few thousand innocent Indonesian, Malaysians and others get killed, as long as he kills off those evil Swedes! So what if a tsunami in the Baltic Sea would be more efficient. Don't question God! So what if Fred Phelps is crazier than a ******* hoot owl, it's the will of God!!

There are times when I wish that my Swedish, Norwegian and other European ancestors had never come to this continent. USA's overly zealous religiosity is appalling.

Additional comment: Yikes Stripes Gadzooks!!! I think I must be getting sloppy and careless with my sarcasm! This was supposed to be a cheer of joy for evolution and education and great big booooo!!!! for creationism and Christian fundamentalism. Judging by all the thumbs down that I got, when the thumbs up appear to mainly be for evolution, it's seems obvious that I was completely misinterpreted. To set the record straight, evolution is true science, creationism is a total farce that has no place in public education, and Fred Phelps is still a World Class Idiot.

So Swedes are the first to prove the evolution theory as fact!

confident. Creationism and smart layout are manifestations of religion, no longer technology. to tutor non secular ideals some human beings carry as scientific actuality is a sparkling violation of the 1st modification. coaching approximately faith is efficacious interior the ideal context, yet technology preparation could shop on with falsifiable hypotheses and theories in keeping with info. inner maximum colleges have greater variety, being that they are not subject to the 1st modification, yet whilst a university teaches faith as no count if this is technology, there could be intense questions approximately no count if it would desire to be approved.

I'll bet the fundies all ignore this line:

"End-of-term services in school are great," he [Education Minister Jan Björklund] said, and added that religious education would remain a school subject. But all elements of religious worship would have to be completely separate from class teaching.
