I'd like to know if anyone actually tried the deal @ www.twopairs.com. Why is that the ad says you can get two pairs for AS LOW AS $69.95? Is there any sales catch? Did anyone like the deal?

Any time you see an add with the phrase "as low as" in it beware! The frames that are for the 2 for 69.95$ glasses will probably be limited to selections from the the "nerd & geek collection". If you want something you would actually wear in public, I'm certian you will be paying a lot more. As the others said, there will probably be quality issues too.

If you normally wear contacts and you just want some cheap glasses for occasional, "emergency use" they might do.

You can always get cheap things in life. You will get two cheaply made pairs of glasses. You will get what you pay for, period. Just do not expect the same thing you would get for $150 elsewhere. It is like getting two pairs of Payless shoes and expecting them to perform like Naturalizers that cost 10 times more. Understand that you can get cheap stuff in any arena. It all depends on what you want.

You get what you pay for. 2 cheaply made pair of glasses and a very brief exam. Everybody is there just to sell you glasses.

I have glasses from there and I have had them for almost 2 years and my glasses do not look cheap. Its a good price for someone who can't afford to pay top $$ for designer glasses...

It is a gimmick to get you into the store and join their EyeCare Club.

MOST OF THE TIME, THE QUALITY OF THE GLASSES (LENSES AND FRAMES) ARE VERY POOR - PAINT PEELS, LENS COATING CHIPS OFF, ETC
