If you can afford it, go to your vet and get your Dog injected with the Pet Programme flea treatment, This makes the eggs of the fleas sterile. You need to do it every 6 months.
But 1st you need to zap those fleas 1st, we have had a very warm wet summer ect, and they thrive on this. Flea eggs can live many years dormant untill conditions are right. why you probably got so many now. Over the counter flea stuff is not really useful. As i said go to vets and also get some strong flea powder what the vet will reccomend . You need to really hoover house through, wash all bed linen ect. Its well worth the money in the end. Pet programme is best. It worked wondrs on my cat, that was 9 years ago, he is now 10. (but they are indoor cats.) No fleas since.
Best of luck.

Flea bombs = nope, don't work
salt = pretty much an old wives tale
skoosh = it was probably me who recommended that
Boric acid = ouch no, not supposed to be used around pets

I suspect I've answered a q for you before, hopefully I mentioned making sure you get the Frontline on the dog's skin, not his fur! Indorex, Acclaim and Staykil are all sprays available from UK vets and I can vouch for the efficacy of all 3 - with bad infestations however it usually takes more than one application, at least a week apart, because not many sprays kill eggs and larvae so you need to treat again once the eggs have hatched out. This is why I recommend Skoosh - it kills eggs and larvae mechanically, and is pesticide free. It's such a new product, only out a couple of months - would be nice to hear some endorsements on here!

Unfortunately there is a method you have to accoplish including treating your dog, carpet, furniture, and maintaining your yards. This is what I do when I spot fleas in my house which is very rarely.

1) Bathe the dog with a simple mild oatmeal shampoo but add eucalyptus oil to the bath water. Once dry apply the frontline. (Frontline breaks the life cycle so once you get fleas that could stay on your dog for three or four months. Revolution actually works best or even Natures guardian in pet stores works better than frontline)

2) Sprinkle borax laundry detergent on your carpet and rub in with a broom. Leave on for 24 hours and vacume.

3) Spray furniture with a basic flea spray.

4) Keep up your yard and make sur it's free of built up weeds, standing water, grass piles, and gathered dry leaves. These areas harbor fleas and ticks. It also helps to sprinkle insect granules in your yard. Just make sure they prevent fleas and ticks.

I normally only get fleas around the season change or when another dog comes to visit but this method gets rid of them in about 48 hours.

Front line or Strong Hold FROM THE VET.
Wash all the bedding in HOT wash.
All the over the counter flea stuff is inferior and not as good as the stuff from the vet.
You need to treat to PREVENT flea infestation.
Three months with Front Line
Monthly with Strong Hold.
Shutting the stable door AFTER the horse bolted is not an effective method!!

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. Fortunately, there are a number of home remedies that are as effective and provides fast relief https://tr.im/Ka9a7

The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching. The first thing that people do to cure hemorrhoids is get an OTC medication, without knowing their possible side effects.

I have heard giving dogs garlic tablets works to keep fleas away, but I am not sure if it works to get rid of the flea once your dog has them already.......It is extremely frustrating, as any dog owner knows, if you let your dogs play outside for any length of time without a good brand of flea protection on, they are most likey to get them! Once they have flea's, it is a pain to get rid of them!

I recommend Revolution, NOT Frontline Plus. (Frontline didn't work on my dogs fleas either).

If you have them in your home, steam clean your carpets!

Good Luck!

Undoubtedly, Frontline spot on for the dog, but if you have a bad infestation you need to use Indorex spray for the house, as recommended by vets who will supply, or you can obtain cheaper online.
