Yes, I have noticed. Just look at CJ for example.
Ever heard the expression, "Biting the hand that feeds you" ??
They took everything they wanted from the Catholic Church (i.e. the Bible, the trinity, etc..) and left the rest. Now they resent the Church and deny her in trying to justify their beliefs and misinterpretations. It's sad really, but all we can do is continue to proclaim the truth.

First existed only the Catholic Church until c.1521 when Martin Luther Protested and formed the protestant church who follow sola-scriptura. The 7 Deuterocanonical books or the Apocrypha were taken off from the new version they made for themselves mainly the KJV and said Luther, "everyone should have their own copy of the Bible". Over a few years he said in regret that his statement was foolish noting that there were as many interpretations of that Bible as there were copies of it. So note that the false and erroneous interpretations were sprouted from the protestants of the bible-only people. (asbejasa) smegmakid8677 gave a perfect illustration of the situation. To add to that for the Catholics you cannot come up with your own interpretation as there is a teaching office which is the Magisterium, which is inspired by the Holy Spirit and its interpretation of the Bible is true to its authority and it is taught to the people by a priest in the Church. Therefore, we don't feel that the Holy Spirit is guiding us but we are in assurance of Jesus' words that Holy Spirit will never cease guiding us.

Perhaps there is cause for it; although not the causes I have usually seen here. As a crude 'rule of thumb' Catholicism' (the teaching, not the people) has 3.5 deviations in it presently. The Protestant group I was raised in had 7 deviations. Unfortuneately, the 3.5 deviations are part of what is currently dividing Christianity in this country (and possibly world wide) and man's 'status quo(ism)' is not correcting them apparently.
Those deviations kept me in the past from changing even though I knew (decades ago) the existing location had 'flaws'.

I was raised Catholic, and went to a Catholic school. I have not stayed with it. I still agree with you. They think the Catholics are the world religion referred to in the end times. Now they are seeing they are wrong. They think the Catholics persecuted Jesus. But they forget or don't know that it was the Jews, wich Jesus was a Jew, took him to them, and demanded persecution. Hopefully Christians will be united in love, the way God intednded some day. And now that you mention it I never hear others singularly mock Catholics. But they probally have us all in one lump. Wich we should be.

Sure, but Christ said that we would be persecuted so it doesn't really matter who mocks us. I just thumb my nose to the lot of them. And I don't turn myself into a hypocrite by doing the same thing to other people. I believe what I believe and no one will change that. I respect those who respect me.

I have total respect for the Catholics; just don't understand how they seem to 'worship' the Pope, like he is God Himself. Like I said yesterday, why do people weep, go hysterical, scream for, grab for the pope's ring to kiss? I agree he is your 'religious leader' to be honored and respected, but don't people go a little overboard in giving too much adoration (for want of a better word). Please tell me how you view this Catholic Crusader and other catholics. God Bless you and all messengers of God.

Yes. The Truth threatens their man-made fundamentalist belief system.
We should remember not to hate them. Be patient with them and pray for them, that the Holy Spirit would open their eyes. They are truly "the least of my brothers" that Jesus talked about. How we treat them is how we treat Him Himself.
