No, church just helps your beliefs and helps to guide you in the right direction. I have learned a lot from going to church. I was doing this that were sins that i did not even realize were sins before I went to church. So, not going to church wont make you go to hell, but it will give you knowledge to be a better person and sin less.

How can anyone give a serious answer to such a ridiculous question?
You want a serious answer? Ok, here it is. There's a big scary fairy up in the sky and if you don't go and mumble weekly in this particular type of building called a "church" his friend Hoofy the Devil will poke you in the bum with a hot stick for the rest of time.

Yep. I think that there is a good chance that I would go to hell. Going to Church every week is the only way that I stay on top of my morality...I feel recharged with the Holy Spirit so that I can wade through the daily trials and tribulations of life for another week, it helps keep me on my toes and out of trouble. It is also the way that I give back to God, it is in the Commandments to go to Church (Remember the Sabbath and Keep it Holy) and it is the least that I can do for him to show him that I love him, by taking time out of my week to go to Church. BTW...I am talking about able bodied Christians. I am not talking about home bound or sick people that phsically cannot go to Church. Of course God isn't going to hold that against them!

The term "Church" is used by Christians in two different, but closely related, ways. It can refer to all of Jesus' followers, viewed as a community. It can also refer to specific institutions, either the local congregation or a national or international body. It can even be used to refer to the building in which they meet.
The Church is important, because God does not save people in isolation. An important part of what needs to be restored is our relationship with other people. That can only be done by the community as a whole.
But this Church is not a building it is a way of life and interacting with others.
Jesus referred to the Christian community with several metaphors. In one he said that he was the vine, and all of his followers are the branches. In another, he referred to the church as his body. All of these images emphasized that his followers are spiritually united with him and with each other. One of the major problems today is that this union is not completely reflected in the way Christians act.
The only requirement in the bible to enter the kingdom of heaven is to believe in God and follow his commandments including the golden rule if you do so you are part of his church as you are a member of his community of believers which is the true church.
One good site that explains churches is - http://geneva.rutgers.edu/src/christianity/church.html - but it is only one persons interpertation and there are many others, who define it differently using the same basis (basic) of facts for their definition(s).

Church or not we all end up in hell . Hell is no more then your grave . Back in the day they had rocky ground and would put the dead in a pit that was called hell . They would put sulfur on them to burn the carcass to rid of disease and smell or roting flesh that's what brimstone is burnt sulfur.
People would say if your not good you will end up in hell . Another words the authority's would kill you and burn you in the pit.
Churches used the term hell and change the meaning around to scare the people into being good .

You don't just live your life by the 10 commandments. You live your life by the example of what Jesus gave plus his commands. Hebrew 10:25- Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves with one another.
That is a command not a suggestion.
But no one will not go to hell. If your not saved is what sends one to hell.

According to the all records that have come down to us one thing is clear, Jesus said that the only way to the Father (or his Father's Kingdom) is through him. He didn't say through a church, he said through him.
He also did not start a new church, he worked inside and outside the church that existed at that time - some of the people in that church accepted him, some didn't, and the leaders insisted on having him put to death.
He was against all the political stuff going on in the name of God - in the existing church - to have power over people for the selfish reasons this occurs in most systems.
He got furious and threw the money lenders out of the house of God (my father's house - he called it). He never said anything against the ten commandments - but he did say that the Law is One - to love God with everything in you and to love your neighbor as yourself .
Simple and clear - and it puts the responsibility on each one of us to take responsibility for our own actions in everything - instead of on following lists of rules and regulations.
So the church leaders of that time got rid of him because what he was teaching was interfering with the way they were controlling the people for their own political and financial purposes.
Other people much later on devised the idea of using him to get the power back - since so many people gravitated to his teachings, and their idea worked, so now we have the same thing he was upset about in the first place, all the political stuff going on in the name of God - in the existing church - to have power over people for selfish reasons.
It isn't likely that he's too happy about that.
However, there are a lot of people who go to church who are sincere. There are also a lot who go there because they want someone else to tell them what to do - because it is easier to put the responsibility on somebody else. It's those who think that going there makes them better than others who are the most messed up. The trouble is when you have all these different groups each insisting that they are the only one's who are right - it gets pretty confusing. It seems sort of like the Tower of Babel.
The way the physical structure of a church has been designed (pyramid shape helps create a higher frequency) can help with meditation and prayer when you are inside it and because of that it is as good a place as any to have a conversation with God. But it helps a lot if it is empty, or at least quiet - without distractions - so you can send out your thoughts to the creator and listen for what comes back to you without interference.
What creates hell around any of us (here or in the hereafter) is selfishness (in all its forms) - the root and sum total of sin. It's whatever we make of ourselves that we carry with us wherever we go - in this dimension and the next.

The Bible says not to forsake the assembly of the saints, meaning that you should be a part of your local church, getting fed by the word, serving and encouraging others to do the same, If you have surrendered your life to him and believe, I do not believe he will send you to hell for not going to church however we all have to give an account to him at the end so.....start thinking about what your gonna say :) Relax, Blessings:)

Believers are called to gather together in worship and to build one another up. That would be the idea behind church--- the Bride of Christ is the body of believers not a building. The basis for salvation is not found in whether or not one attends church, but in belief in Jesus Christ. Since salvation is the requirement for not going to Hell, church attendance or lack thereof is not going to buy a one-way pass to damnation.

It is having a relationship with Jesus and accepting that he died for you sins that is the determining factor. No not going to church will not send you to hell, but it will kill you. What I mean is when you make that commitment to Christ going to church is something you want to do. You need the encouragement and fellowship that being involved with people who live like you do. So it come naturally that you would want to go. Without a vision my people perish.~Jesus.
