A few years ago after morning feild services arrangements,a sis. friend stood up holding unto 2 shoulder bags and 1 hand bag,I asked what she was doing with all the bags,she explaned the 3 and I said that there are 5.After some friendly argument I pointed out the 5 were 3 in her hands and one under each eye . When she stopped laughing all 3 bags were used to pound me up over the stairs and out the door,with a promise not to invite me over to her house for any more of her scrumpdillyish meals.And she lays out a wicked table believe me.~~lol--Now was she mean or was I mean.

Sorry Bambi,I don't think I explained enough I should have said when we all stopped laughing and she got her strength back enough to hammer me with her bags which I deserved .She is a doll and wasn't really angry,we went on with our service and that wasn't the last clout I got from her.

Hey you guys are catching unto to me, Ishvarian she loved every minute of it and all the crowd did too ,I was too weak from laughing to run away and she had me pinned in the crowd while whalloping me ,the bros. and siss. knew us well ,and it broke up the ice and made our day.Question remains though,mean or not mean .

Ouch, hope you and she were good friends. I doubt either of you were being mean. Some of the best memories happen in service.
I was once at Burger King taking a break during service. I told a sister a joke, the punch line is, Pulling my leg----like I'm pulling your's. She was so wrapped up in the detailed story that she didn't get it was a joke for a good 80 seconds, when she did, she gasped, then slapped me. She was mortified when she realised she had slapped me, I responded "That's not the reaction I was hoping for". All had a good chuckle.

cuz she laffed 1st,
then decided she didn't think it was so funny.
And got physical.
Not funny.
Now, you on the other hand;
could've just been making a joke,
which she took the comment as such~~
she laffed, didn't she.
But some women are sensitive about such things.
It could be said that you were careless,
in making the comment,
even as a joke.
It all depends on the ppl involved.
Make amends w/ her.

Mormon ideals are Christian ideals. Latter-Day Saints will inform you to maintain going to the LDS church, anybody else will inform you to run as some distance away as you could. I say flow to the LDS church :D it rather is the ideal element thats ever handed off to me, and you reported you're no longer feeling linked with God on the Pentecostal Church.

It depends on your relationship, as in how close you are to her. If you said that to anyone you are not really close with they might take it the wrong way. But from her response, I think she took it as a joke.
