Yes, yes I do. Consciousness continues long after bodily death. Your Ancestors can guide you in this life. The most common way they can communicate with you is in dreams, but there are other ways in which they make their presence known. You might notice something that reminds you of Grandma, or smell Grandpa's pipe even though there is no pipe smoke in the room. It could be as subtle as a memory popping into your head, or even the brief sensation of a hand on your shoulder lighter than the wind. Our Ancestors are there. They are always present. They never leave us. They continue to love us from beyond the Veil of Death, guiding us in this life and waiting for us to eventually join them. Remember them, honor them, and give them your thanks -- especially on Halloween.

Halloween was originally an Ancestor holiday, called Samhain by the Celts (pronounced Sow'een or Sow'in). This is a time when the gateway between this world and the land of the dead is at its thinest, and we can most easily communicate with them.

If dead people are dead, conscience of nothing at all, no. Obviously they cannot, however Satan and his Demons can interfere in those ones' lives that seek him out and they are able to "make things seem one way" but not as they really are: dead. If you seek out the dead, demons will come to you. You do not want this because it emcompasses evil and is NOT from God.

It could be very well possible, but who wants to talk with dead people, wouldn't it be a lot less traumatizing if you weren't looking through someone or there body wasn't emitting some foul smell oozing green stuff?

Seems like it would be fairly difficult for dead people to do too terribly much of anything...cuz...they're dead. Not terribly active at that stage. Love in Christ, ~J~

I don't believe that the dead are capable of any behavior at all, since at the moment when the physiological and electro-chemical activity in the brain ceases the person ceases to be.

Dead people are dead so they cannot connect with anyone.

But there are spirits, with whom psychics can communicate, they masquerade as the dead people. Interesting!

No. Once they have left the body they have no way to connect. In the bible it says the dead wont know sorrow...if they were in the presence of absolute goodness, why would they wish to connect with such chaos?

Yes, I think it's possible for people to connect or communicate with those who have passed on. I don't think death is final, and I believe there's a life after life. Also, I believe the worlds of the living and the deceased are not entirely separated.

I think any spirit can connect with you if you are open to it.

However, i think looking for specific dead people to connect... well... maybe not. The spirit is not the physical person.

Most Christians think that Jesus, who died, can connect with them.

They can't, because why would you want dead people around you? they're dead and they shouldn't bother us living ones.
