Here's the story..

I freak myself out over everything! For example, I have really bad anxiety and I don't like to drive much at night if I'm alone because thats when the majority of my attacks hit me..if someone's with me Im fine. If I get a headache I think I have a tumor and I'm dying. I think everything is cancer. A stomach ache, a toothache..anything simple. If my husband is 5 minutes late getting home from work I just know he was in an accident and is dead. I won't fly because every little noise I hear I just know the plane is crashing or we're being hijacked.

It comes and goes also. I don't always freak out, its periodically but its enough to get on my nerves!! What can I do to get over this fear I have???

You aren't scared to live, you are scared to die. What happens after death is unknown even if we have faith in a religion. I was like that when I was younger in my 20's but now in my 40's I don't worry so much anymore. I always worried what would happen to my kids if I died. I would have panic attacks also and ended up having to get a prescription for them. I realized life is for living and if I don't put myself in danger intentionally, I should live a long life. You can't prevent somethings from happening but you can take precautions.

Sounds like you've been brainwashed into thinking that this world can go on without you. You are the most important being on this planet because you are living to live here. Do you really believe in the junk you are selling? I think you need to get off these pills and now. You need to spend more time with your girlfriend and less time feeling miserable about your life. May I ask you a question? When was the last time you got laid? When was the last time you made love to your girlfriend. That is the whole answer right there. Love is the eternal answer. Love is everywhere if you stop to look around. I know I might not be helping. But I don't like hearing from negative people. I ask my people to have a good day. For you,At least,Try to have a good day today. Bye for now.

A lot of people experience these anxieties so don't feel like you are alone. If it's possible you should try to go to counseling and check out groups in your area for people who have anxieties. A lot of churches and hospitals have them these day. Also check out the forums on the internet...you will not only find some good help there but probably make some good friends. Try to relax and take deep breaths when you know you are going into a situation that will cause you to become anxious. There are many sites on the internet that can help you. Just search "anxiety" and you will find them. Good luck.

HAHA i know someone who is like you. See a psychiatrist!! Let me tell you that there's more chance of dying in a car accident than a plane crash.. dont let that turn you off driving.
A psychiatrist will help you get over it, i dont see any other way. There's a name for your condition though... dont know what it is.
Anyway good luck, a psychiatrist is the way to go. And dont be concerned about the cost coz if you truely want this to go away you'd pay any ammount of money (providing it's within your financial comfort)

I would definitely see a doctor. Sounds like many things...possibly a phobia, or hormonal changes, or even chemical imbalances. In the meantime, read up on relaxation techniques and breathing exercizes. The thing to keep in mind is, you can only control you..... Don't fret over whats out of your control..... You can't change it.

Have you tried seeing a doctor? It sounds as though you may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder as well as the anxiety. There are medications that help. Don't suffer if you don't have too. Get help!
My exhusband had the same problem. He refused help. I had to leave him or go crazy myself. Don't let that happen to you.
