I love this question. I would rather be hated because I HAVE to be me and to live a lie is not me. Give me hate but KNOW that I am real !

If you are not true to yourself, you will only end up hating yourself in the long run. It is very hard to continue "the act" for an extended length of time and it usually isn't worth the effort. Just be yourself and those people that are worth your time will appreciate you for yourself.

EVERY person in the world acts like they are someone else in front of others-this may be to varying degrees but not one person acts as they normally would behind closed doors when they are faced with the general public. so i would say that EVERYONE wants to be loved for who they aren't. think about THAT. people who say otherwise are only further proving my point.

Loved for who you're not? You'll end up hated for who you really are.
Clear it up in the beginning. Even if you're not loved. Phony's are always losers.

Hate me all you want .... I'll be true to myself and a better person for it.
Think rationally .... if you are hiding behind a facade and someone says they love/like you, then they really don't love/like YOU, they love/like the person you are pretending to be.

Be yourself always. If someone hates your for it, so what.
But, If your doing alright for yourself and have respect of others, then that's even better.
Being someone other than yourself to please others is just acting. And not you. So all "love" is just words with no meaning.

if someone hates you for who you are they are not worth it.
but i think you should be yourself no matter what people think.
my grandmother once said to me: YOU KNOW YOU ARE POPULAR WHEN PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW HATE YOU
