No, that is not happening. Another thing is that the Army wear a different uniform than Marines do, even though they had copied the digi camies from the Marines. There has been incidends where the Army did copy Marines as far as uniform. During Somolia, Marines were not able to issue their men desert boots. Unlike the Army who had the bigger budget and better gear. The Marines for the most part, especially the infantry wore their black boots. Well the Somali's figured out that if they attacked the men in black boots they were getting their asses handed to them but if they attacked the men with brown boots they had a chance so they stopped attacking the men with the black boots. The Army figured this out so some units started wearing the black boots since the only differences between Army and Marine uniforms during that time was the boots.

i in my opinion don't be attentive to the way they stay in Iraq and could by no potential attempt to examine that query because of the fact i'm no longer interior the army or the Marines, nor am I residing in shitty *** housing in Baghdad. Regardless, my husband became right into a marine, and my brother is interior the army. My husband spent it slow doing the 'wasteland hurricane' op, my brother is coping with the nuke concern in N.Korea. After talking to them I even have found out that the two one in all them basically had the comparable kind of housing. A room, such as a dorm, with a shower and a couple of beds on your roommates. you're able to purchase regardless of you prefer from the AX submit for especially darn low value, so my bro has a huge flatscreen television and a sparkling computing device. Its kinda like college, basically you're holding our usa and there's a gamble you're able to get killed. stable luck and desire this helped!

Sorry, I have been to Iraq and never even seen a Marine so I know that our soldiers have not done anything like that. It probably started between a Marine and a Soldier that is now a joke.

I am in the army and have served in Iraq. We have never painted marines or usmc on our vehicles. Whoever told you that is full of something stinky.
To: CaliSccr.. I have served along side many excellent marines, and I would never want to leave the army to become one of U.ncle S.am's M.isguided C.hildren.
Army pride !!!

I have never heard that (and I've known guys in the army and marines and at least one has been in Iraq at any given time since this started) Honestly I don't think any self respecting soldier would do that anyway......besides it's not true that the marines aren't being fought. They have casualties just like the army and they are getting those casualties in the same ways.
By the way....did you happen to hear this from a marine? Just curious about where you heard that from....

False
Insurgents are Anti-American, not Anti-US Army. It makes little difference if you are serving as Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, or even a civilian down here. They will target you all the same.
Also, vehicles dont have identifying features that let you know a Army vehicle from a Marine vehicle.

I can tell you from experience that that is not true. Some USMC myth I think. I believe the insurgents are anti-american, and they don't care what branch of service, or even if your a contractor. They hate us all.
