Ok. Are you sure that is what he was charged with. Not to get to graphic but sodomy is defined with forced insertion into ANY hole in the body. Nose, ear, anus, mouth, etc. Other definitions for it include sexual intercourse with an animal. When you add aggravated to it, it sure adds to the aggravating circumstances that will weight against him. Take him a a doctor beating him or taking away his tv wont help. I hate to be the one to inform you but these are serious crimes. He might even need to register in the sex offender registry. Going to his neighbors and telling them to protect their dogs against your son will be plenty enough punishment for him to hp fully not do it again, but take him to a doctor (psychiatrist) right away.

Take away his tv?? Beat him??

Your son has major issues here. Maybe beating him in earlier parts of his life helped get him where he is now.

He needs professional help. ANY parenting strategy isn't going to work now. And BEATING him will be the LAST thing he needs!!

your son has a very serious mental problem. Bestiality is not only a sex crime, but animal abuse and brutality.

I don't see how beating will work -- but he needs very intensive treatment. I would suggest an in-hospital situation.
