im pregnant, and finnaly me and my boyfriend and i decided to get married..the thing is..we had to book the weeding a month and a day in advance..but..my visa expires just 3 days after the marriage..i tried to booked for earlier, but they wont let me... i know i can lodge my application a day after i get married, but..till then..ill be 4 days unlawfull, i dont want thatt.. what visa should i get to stay here legaly for this 4 days? should i try for a tourist visa? and then lodge my spuose visa after the weding? would they grant me a tourist visa pregnant ?(ill be around 15-17 weeks pregnant by there?) - can u apply for a spouse visa if u have a tourist visa? what are my options..?

ps: i live in australia..thats why..i need 1 month before get married here... cant get before that..as i just decided now, i booked late.. didnt know that..

Where is here? In the US there is a specific visa for marriages. It's good for 90 days

Should you have a Fiance Visa then of course they will extend the time on it in your circumstancs.You will then have to apply to the Registrar and your details will go on public display for 1 month before you can marry.You cannot marry on a tourist visa and do need a Fiance visa.This visa will only be granted in your home country and will need the proper documents which are more complex than the papers for a tourist visa.Their is nothing to be afraid of our Embassy staff abroad are very nice people and are following guide lines set by the government in the UK.But in saying that you must adhere to the rules then the problem is solved.
