I agree with your statement. Time is running out for people to repent of their sins and turn to Jesus. Israel is indeed playing and will be playing a pivotal role in the Lord's return. Last month I read that Israel bombed and took out part of Syria's nuclear reactors. I also read this week that some high officials in Israel are contemplating turning over part of Jerusalem to Palestine to keep peace. It's only a matter of time before the man of false pease, the antichrist, steps out of the shadows. God bless, and continue praying for Jerusalem!

"add to this comedy of false certainties the fact that 44 percent of Americans are confident that Jesus will return to Earth sometime in the next 50 years, and you will glimpse the terrible liability of this sort of thinking. Given the most common interpretation of Biblical prophecy, it is not an exaggeration to say that nearly half the American population is eagerly anticipating the end of the world. It should be clear that this faith-based nihilism provides its adherents with absolutely no incentive to build a sustainable civilization—economically, environmentally or geopolitically. "
Sam Harris

You have no proof, nor any legitimate reason to believe that the world is going to end any time soon. Stop with the superstitious nonsense and try working to make this world a better place for future generations.

This is the preverbial Holy Lie or "white lie".

Saint Paul claims "I lie not!" (Rom 9:1) maybe he is telling the truth about his lying "TO ENHANCE THE GLORY OF GOD".

"If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?" (Rom 3:5-8)

Saint Jerome the author of the Vulgata said "In case of a doubt I always favor the faith"

Jesus lied about his 2nd coming...

Matthew 16:28 - I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

The Jews drop out of Christianity when Jesus didn't deliver the goods. According to the astrologers from the East, Jesus was supposed to be the "Newborn King of the Jews." The very last question the Jews made to Jesus was about delivering the goods! (Acts 1:6-7), but now Jesus is telling them that nobody, but nobody including himself knows when God will send him back! (Mark 13:32)... Today there are televangelists telling you that he is coming soon in 2012 or so... and they laugh all the way to the bank... Ask Oral Roberts, Jr...

James 2:24 - "You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone."

Some people promote a very attractive idea: All true Christians, regardless of how they live, have an absolute assurance of salvation, once they accept Jesus into their hearts as "their personal Lord and Savior." The problem is that this belief is contrary to the Bible & constant Christian teaching.

Recall this Scripture: "If we have died with him [in baptism; see Rom. 6:3-4] we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him" (2 Tim. 2:11-12). So, ff we do NOT persevere, we shall NOT reign with him. In other words, Christians can forfeit heaven. Jesus tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). Ergo, if you do not endure to the end, well........

The Bible makes it clear that Christians have a moral assurance of salvation (God will be true to his word and will grant salvation to those who have faith in Christ and are obedient to him [1 John 3:19-24]), but the Bible does NOT teach that Christians have a guarantee of heaven. There can be no absolute assurance of salvation. The Bible says, "See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness, otherwise you too will be cut off" (Rom. 11:22-23; Matt. 18:21-35, 1 Cor. 15:1-2, 2 Pet. 2:20-21).

Note that this includes an important condition: "provided you remain in his kindness." It is saying that Christians can lose their salvation by throwing it away. He warns, "Whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall" (1 Cor. 10:11-12). , Paul admitted that even he could fall away: "I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified" (1 Cor. 9:27). In saying this he points out that even he cannot be infallibly sure of his own present state or of his future salvation.

As a Catholic, when someone asks me if I have been "saved," I answer: "I am redeemed by the blood of Christ, I trust in him alone for my salvation, and, as the Bible teaches, I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), knowing that it is God's gift of grace that is working in me."

You suck at scaring people into your religion. Your trying to sell everyone on the idea that the end is coming and your not even sure about that yourself.
Instead of 'time is runing[sic] the end is coming?'
you should have said
'Time is Running out! The end is coming!'

See, much more scarier. Then maybe add some dispensational nonsense about all the world powers going to war just as the bible says and you have the basis into terrifying your gullible mark into accepting your religion.

How about this, why don't you hire me on for a reasonable wage and I'll do all your converting for you since you suck so bad at it.

I think we're all aware of the fact that an end is eminent. We're killing this planet fast enough on our own. We're not gonna have to worry about the whole fire and brimstone thing.
