Its a weird thing that not even Angels understand. No matter how horrible and despicable things are now they always turn out for the best. In a decade or a century. try to think like a being who sees everything there is to see, hears everything there is to hear and has done since the creation. People suffer. yes they do but there suffering is always has an end.

I am amazed at the number of people above that profess a disbelief in God.

God sent Jesus to earth a little over 2000 years ago. Jesus spread God's word and informed people of how they should be and what they should do to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It is my understanding that God has not had such a great intervention into the affairs of mankind since those days. God does not stop people from doing wrong. He doesn't make people do what is right. He set down the rules to be followed and stated the consequences and it is up to man to follow or not follow His guidance.

My payers go out to all of mankind.

It is blasphemy when we attribute the present "sad stories" and "cruel unusual purnishment" to The Creator. We should be courageos to accept the consequences of our deads since they have originated from us and not Him. One of the Laws of The Lord is: Whatsoever a man soweth, that MUST he reap.
What is happening today are the fruits of the evil we had sown in the past which today we have forgotten about them but, the adamantine Will of God returns back to mankind what they deserve at the appropriate time.

We have reached the end of 'The Appointed Times of the Nations' (Luke 21: 20-24) or the so called 'Gentile Times'.(And no that's not the name of a newspaper!)
Having accurate knowledge of what the expression means will go a long way to giving you some understanding of why you are seeing what you see.
Please talk to someone from the Jehovah's Witnesses to get an understanding of the expression.
You don't have to join and if you don't agree with what they are saying, politely ask them to leave.
It will be worth it to find out why this is actually a time for rejoicing.

He could stop it. Very easily.

For complete and utter control ofer the human race so there is no suffering, no sin and no sadness due to control over the Earth by Heaven. - That was the plan proposed by Satan.

The plan that was offered (and we all accepted, hence we are here), was that man would have total agency to choose between good and evil. Things would happen, illness, disability, financial strife, these are all tests to strengthen our spirits.

Ehh...*thinks* Not a clue, but the saddest thing that happened to me today was freaking out and crying in the middle of my Japanese speech. Thankfully, the entire class was recording their own speeches at the same time, but I feel very fail. OH. WAIT. My friend told me we were running in P.E. Wait...that doesn't count, does it? Uh...I ate a lemon bar for the first time and it tasted terrible? EDIT. OH. NO. IREMEMBERNOW. My dad told me CBS was on channel four instead of five, and I thus missed one minute of How I Met Your Mother. I missed another minute at the end when he decided to change the channel to four to "make the screen clearer".

no. it doesn't make me doubt God at all. i don't know if you noticed or not, but lots of ''sad, sad things'' are written of in the bible. Jesus wasn't humanely put to sleep, like people sometimes are today, but something wonderful came from His torturous death. everything that happens in life can have a positive impact, so long as you choose to look at it in a positive way.
