No it is my second time changing the fluid. I took it to a shop to get it done first. But they didn't replace filter just flush out the fluid. So after some reading I flushed the fluid and change out the filter and patched it back. Fill the fluid.

On idle no noise. When I shift to a gear R-L except N, it will make the noise. If I step on the break, no noise. It only makes noise when I release the brake and it gets worse as I accelerate. I have 140000 miles on the car. The noise seems to come from the tranny itself since it only makes that noise when gear is engaged.

First time to change the trans fluid? 7 years? Removing the trans cooler hose and hooking up a flush machine should not cause any clicking and clunking. Please be more specific. When does the noise happen on acceleration while turning and accelerating. Were there other items the technician wrote down on the inspection form? How many miles are on this car? where does the sound come from?
