Well, the Episcopal Church, in 2003, consecrated V. Gene Robinson as the bishop of New Hampshire - and he's gay and OUT about it.
However, there's a huge stink floating around TEC now about whether or not the clergy should publicly bless same-sex unions.
But many Episcopalians don't really care if someone is gay or straight.

Firstly, we dont have Christian faiths but The Christian Faith which is faith in God and His son Jesus, the Christ. The Christian faith is all about the word of God as proclaimed in the bible, anything else is a fallacy.
To move on to your question, am forced to agree with the guy who said, "If they are not agaisnt homosexuality, they are against their own beliefs". I also totally agree with Baptist.
You have not stated whether you are a homosexual and i dont see why anyone should assume that you are. my advice is this. If you are, and you really want to go to church, go to a proper church that believes in the bible. That means they will be against homosexuality, but it also means that you stand a chance to know WHY God is against it. it also means that should you ever want to change, you will be in the right place. Its better to be in a place where you will be told the truth, no matter how much it hurts, then YOU can decide what to do with that truth. I assume that the fact that a homosexual might wanna go to church simply means they want communion with God.
One more thing, as Christians, we should be like Christ. That means that no matter how we feel about the sin, we should love the sinner. Thats why Christ came in the first place! We were all sinners, Christ hated our sin but he loved the sinner! isn't that amazing? Afterall, who needs the gospel more, the sinner or the saint?
If i were a pastor and you were a homosexual, a murderer, a thief, a rapist, a prostitute, a pervert, a liar...u name it, you would be welcome in my church. I would preach the gospel to you every Sunday and let you decide whether you wanted to change or not. But i would love you all the same.

There are only a few Christian churches that ARE against homosexuality - mainly Southern Baptist and evangelical branches that believe the Bible is to be taken literally.
The many others don't make a major issue out it, and I still haven't figured out why this seems to be a bigger issue with those churches than a lot of other "sins".

Its not about what Christians believe, Its what the Bible says.
Homosexuality is like every other sin, there are Christians in Church who still sin. Christians or anybody should not Judge people, that is GOd's Place. No one goes to church perfect, it takes time to change.
I personally was a homosexual but through GOd giving me strength to change I changed. It would not have happened without GOd in my life. God has given me the ability to Change my thoughts and my habits. IF you are sincere in your heart to change, then God will help you in the process.

If they're not against homosexuality, then they're against their own beliefs! And thus not a true Christian! Christians are pure freaks! Just leave them alone in their little fairy land.
