Some people are sensitive to salt and it can cause Hypertension (high blood pressure). Eating that much salt in one day probably won't hurt you. It's just not good to consume a lot of salt on a regular basis.

An occasional meal with a high sodium (salt) content is not likely to have long term consequences on your health, although it will stress your kidneys and will dehydrate you in the short term.
It can also cause diarrhea as the salt in your stomach attracts water from outside your stomach to enter the digestive tract.
Contrary to what some people have said, salt does not affect "your pH", rather it lowers the concentration of water in your digestive system relative to the rest of your body. Your pH is very stable and you would have to drink bleach or strong acid in order to cause it to shift a consequential amount.
Long-term, regular overindulgence can lead to hypertension, an increase in blood pressure, and hardening of your arteries, which is a major contributor to heart disease.
Basically, a little indulgence is not a big problem, but regularly overdosing with salt will lead to problems later in life.

Salt is always bad to be taken inside. In fact all the vegetables, food stuffs of any nature do contain salt naturally, and that was sufficient for the human body. Wherever salt is excessively taken, it keeps water along with it. So you find swelling in feet, legs an even the entire body.
Salt when used externally , helps us to clean our body from negative energy. That is reason why in many families salt from one's hand is not received by another through hand. They have an apprehension that they will have a trouble from one to other. This is because along with salt, negative energy flows from one to another and this causes all sorts of troubles.
When somebody is in illness, Salt is taken around the head and body of the ill person to reduce the sickness. Tis is because, the salt when moved through the AURA of the person , takes away the negative energy and make him feel better.
Taking a dip in sea(salt water) at least once in an year is what elders say to the youngsters.
Hence less salt inside and more salt outside the body is the lesson for good health.

IM looking at it this way. you eat salt at any amount , our body tends to swell up and retain lots of water inside and then the following day you will feel bloated and stuff , when that happens to me, i hit the sauna immediately to release water retintions. if you cant find a sauna anywhere then you can make one of your own, in your own bathroom
keep all doors closed and turn on hot water only and let the steam fill the room, and sit in there for at least 20 min or longer until you feel that sweat or water has released from your body. i hope this helps

That salt CAUSES high blood pressure is a myth. But if you have high blood pressure then you can become salt-sensitive, which worsens the issue. Bottom line: There's no reason to limit your sodium intake if you don't have high blood pressure already.

if you really eat only prawns and nothing else, the matter is serious, but as long as you eat a lot of vegetables and fruit, drink plenty of water or other drinks different from alcohol, there's nothing much to worry about.
