I see that the trolls can not answer to our logical questions which can be answered only when you have some knowledge.
I am now sure sur sure that the trolls are trolls who have memorized a few comments and came here to show their shallowness.

I'm not sure if can find the suitable words to describe his personality. I don't find it acceptable to separate people like 'Good Armenians' & 'Bad Armenians' but He is a good person himself and a real human-being. After all Artin Penik, Hrant Dink and many more.. Those people are the ones our country needs.

Well i always believe in honesty. But if your friend truly, honestly regrets it..which he does because it is his biggest regret, then don't tell her. They are happy right now, and by telling her you would just be the cause of a broken marriage. He will tell her when the time is right. Don't have the kids go through their parents getting a divorce. I know you might feel like telling her is the right choice, but it will hurt so many lives if you do.

Thank you for this good question. I believe we should carry it outside of Travel-Turkey section..

Noooo Mr. BOBO, nooooooo...

Please either read link given in question or do not write about it...

What you told that "He would say what are we doing, why are we as humans killing each other." is totaly different than the letter of Artin Penik which says;

"Now, I am protesting you in the name of the Patriarche and all Turkish Armenians, and burning myself.

You, ASALA murderers!Nothing can be done by killing innocent people. You are deceived by the imperialists. The history is told very wrong to you....................."

Can you see difference ?

He would say what are we doing, why are we as humans killing each other.

Where does it stop, We have made a statistics out of loss of life. It is so common now it is like a scorecard.

They kill us, we kill them, they attack us, we attack them.

It is an endless cycle, the real tragedy is there is so much violence and death it doesn't even shock us anymore.

What are our children learning, by watching all the violence and hate. Except that it has become our way of life.

“Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make, Something you do, Something you are, and something you give away.”

Edit: Mehmet K, what I mean is, "We" as a society and ASALA as a product of our society. "We have found the enemy and the enemy is us", Like ℓiмε said it is not an issue of good/bad Aremenians, We are all "occupants" of this rock we call Earth"

Again, a good armenian dies for the evil armenian's sins. May he rest in heaven.

EDIT: Lady GOP's philosophy is that someone must be insane to support the turkish cause on this. pathetic.

I remember the incident. He is another link in my heartache chain, right next to the ambassadors killed by ASALA terrorists.

For someone so anti-Wikipedia I find it odd that you use it often enough as your reliable source.

I think that Artin Pentik was seriously ill, and not someone to be worshiped but more pitied. How can someone who tragically ends his life by his own hands be emphasized now as an icon of some sort perhaps a reminder or lesson to be learned from the tragic events that led him to such a horrid ending but thats all .

He was so consumed with despair brought on by his governments consistent propaganda of hate toward the Armenians it completely drove him to such a pitiful and tragic choice.

He escaped his misery without ever receiving treatment for his obvious illness. If he had recieved treatment he may have not seen things in the same way.

This was just a tragic ending for a very sick man.

I appreciate you letting me express my views on this issue.
