I've know enough about them to know that I'll never take a medium seriously. Been to a few, seen a few, heard of a few.
In my observations, it's pure power of suggestion and nothing more. Just people so willing to believe something that they eat up what they are being told. I mean, isn't it a bit odd that mediums generally won't allow people to question them in a skeptical manner? If it's real, what do they have to hide?

Séance - is an old way where a group tries to communicate with the dead. Usually theres a medium present who is able to allow spirits to communicate through them.
You can also use a Ouija board, or channelled writing. If you're a skeptic then I'd imagine little is going to happen. But for those believers they're considered quite dangerous and should probably be treated with care and respect.

I know you have to believe in them or nothing will happen. And that's not to say that it's all in your mind either.
I mean come on, would you wanna go to a party where everyone was gonna make fun of you or ignore you?? Yea, same thing with the spirits.

Good one Ginger.
By séance I presume you mean a group meeting where a medium/channeler attempts to contact the 'spirit world' - usually 'spirits of the dead'. You cannot contact the dead and the 'spirits are familiar spirits (demons) and the whole practice is thoroughly condemned by Scripture.
