It's a toy you can buy in any novelty shop. It has roughly the same influence with the spirit world as a Frisbee.

It's a matter of the mind. If someone playing starts getting scared, the spirits will not only answer you more, but also cross over into your world basically. And now that your getting scared, it will be dangerous if you continue playing. It's like if there is a spirit in your house... showing anger or fear will only feed it's power over you. Same with the ouija board. Just stop playin with it, you'll be better off. Don't tempt fate or the spirits.

Ouija has nothing to do with the spiritual world. It and a few of other games out there are designed as sub-psychological mediums. Anything to the contrary is superstitious, pseudo-babble.
When you (and/or your friends playing the game) ask "the board" a question, you are in truth asking your own sub-conscious mind(s) - which contain far more knowledge than you would assume. Original research by the game's developers, stated this as a fact. There's nothing supernatural about it, at all.

There are theories that it works off of your sub conscience. That's why it seems to know so much as you put it.
But yes, you can contact the spirit world through the Ouija board and various other methods but usually a novice ends up contacting evil entities and demons instead of actual ghost so you should really not play with something you don;t understand. You could very well invite something into your life you can't get rid of.

At your age and unmature stage, I would not dwell on the realness or not, of the ouija board. I would guess by the way you type, and the grammar used that you are still quite young.
Enjoy your young life, and all that you still have to learn about living, and leave the spiritual stuff, for when you've had more exposure to the world and its many peoples and teachings. you must learn to walk before you run.

I am pagan and I use them quite often. They are a divination tool and help you tap into the spirit world. Although, mine isn't made by Parker Brothers. Mine is a talking board from my local pagan supplie house and my husbands is a hand carved wodden board made by a witch.

It is totally not real. Anything it is "telling" you is your subconcious playing tricks on you. There are no spirits. And if there were and they could manipulate matter, why would they bother with a ouija board? Surely they'd just come right out and have a chat.

I have some experience with them. Many years ago, I had a friend who had one and she was having a nighttime "visitor" of a mysterious sort, a shadow figure that would stand in her doorway. I had known about the problems with these boards from bad experiences my sister had, of a similar nature. So I took the board and presented it to the power of God in the name of Jesus, destroyed it and threw it out. My friend's "visitor" immediately vanished from her life. I am nobody speciaI, just a simple believer in Jesus, so the lesson is if God will help me do something like this, I am sure He will help you too if you ask him. Get rid of the board, commit it to the power of God in Jesus, and if you experience any additional phenomena, take your concerns to a spiritually genuine Christian pastor and have him help you work it through.
"And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:17-20.
