How would they make it look like a real panic attack?

I'd like to echo the sentiment - why would you want to, but if someone was at it, the most convincing way would be to force themselves to hyperventilate. The rest would fit itself in. Not a good idea though.

Well I don't know why you would want to fake a panic attack.. seeing as for those (like myself) who have really experienced it don't particularly find it pleasant...

But here is a list of some of the symptoms I get when I have a panic attack (and I guess the fake-ability depends on your acting skills).

* Hyperventilation
* Shaking/Trembling
* Hysteria
* The need to curl up into a ball in a small, dark space
* Uncontrollable fear

...

Everyone is different, but that's how I experience them.

A better question might be, why would someone want to fake a panic attack?

I doubt that faking a full-blown panic attack is possible, as multiple body systems are involved.

if a person starts hyperventerlating tha oxygen levels to the brain lowers and can trigger similar symptoms to a panic attack
