Okay, before I type this, just know I am NOT making fun of your religion, and this is a completely serious question.
I was chatting with one of my friends a month or so ago, and they mentioned Mormons have -- or at lease USED to -- have sex through sheets? This sounded completely ludacris to me, so I guess I'm just wanting to put my mind at ease on this. I know the Mormon religion is famous for some "unorthodox" beliefs and practices... but seriously...

This is not true about Mormons. I have heard this about some Orthodox Jews.

Well, it would have been fairly difficult if not impossible for me to conceive my 3 children through the sheets. I've never heard that before, sorry. It's not true. How would we have continued to have children? Not to mention that that wouldn't make sex very fun.
You might want to check on those "unorthodox" beliefs you think Mormons believe since you thought this one might possibly be true.

Well, if you think it's fun, you can do it that way, however Mormons can basically do what they want how they want with their spouse in the bedroom.
Another myth is that Mormons have to have sex with their underwear on. Again, not true.
Naked, upside down, on the floor, whatever....As long as you both enjoy it, anything goes.
I've heard some people speculate that Mormons can't have oral sex, however that's never been taught either. Another rumor.

How is one supposed to multiply and replenish the earth through sheets? That is so silly. This is absolutely not true as is the idea that polygamy is still a common practice amongst the members.

Maybe they are getting confused with a purported practice of early Saints of having sex with their garments (underwear) still on. Something that I imagine precious few Mormons would do now days.

Whoever thought that up.....did not understand or misunderstood the purpose of intimacy....Sex or better said...love express between a man and his wife through physical intimacy is beautiful and very good thing naked. Our bodies are made to become one in this act of love between man and wife....a sheet would make that very unattractive.
