Ok... you have to give it a few days. All mood meds give you a euphoric feeling for the first day or two. This will calm down. If you do continue to have problems PLEASE consult your doctor, but I don't think you need to worry. Wel-butrin is a very typical medication, and jitters are just it's way of getting into your system. Considering your issues at the moment, this could also be having an effect on your nerves. If you would not get mad, I would like for you to think about PTSD and Battered Women's Syndrome.... Abuse can cause these and other major problems. Take the wel-butrin for a few days, and if it seems that you are still having a problem with it, go to your doctor. DO NOT STOP MEDS WITHOUT YOUR DOCS PERMISSION.. stopping meds without controlling the way it is done is a recipe for disaster... You do NOT want to crash, I promise! I am an Advocate Against Domestic Violence, just in case you need someone to talk to. I am here!

I've been on close to each remedy for intellectual health problem they've available in the market Wellbutrine incorporated for melancholy. Yeah there are part results. Some men and women can tolerate them greater than others. I ultimately simply stopped taking any remedy. No part results if you do not take them.

I take 150 mg of wellbutrin XL. When I took the 300 mg , I had your same symptoms. Ask your doctor for the 150mg of wellbutrin XL. They do not have generic yet for this one , however if your doctor is cool he can give you samples all the time:)
I really think you will be stable taking it that way. It seems you react the same way as me:)
Good Luck babe!
Congrats on the separation! I know it's tough but you can do it! Your better than that! Don't let anyone tell you different.
Try Pilates, Yoga too it's great for stress!

Some medications react differently with some people than with others. Perhaps you should check things out with your prescribing doctor, don't be afraid. Just ask the prescribing doctor or call the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist. They would have many of the answers that you need. Your dosage may be adjusted but do not change anything unless your doctor tells you to.. If you continue to have reactions please be sure to check with the doctor or pharmacist before making any changes. I believe that if something unexpected happens, go straight to your local emergency room.People do usually have good results but not everyone is the same.

These are common side effects with this range of medications.
You will either want to:
Reduce
Change
Or take an Additional Med
I would try reduceing and getting friends online to talk to about your problems. That's a better way to relieve some things.
I would advice against takeing additional Meds as this is just covering up side effects, creates more side effects, and some times proves unhealthy.
If you still notice Anxiety from time to time,.. get off of Wellbutrine. I don't remember if this was the exact medication or if it was one of the ones before or after this, but around the time my mom took this she started to develope anxiety and fear. My mom's doctor tried to cover it up,.. while she might be telling him she was hunkydorey,.. she really had been shakeing and gotten so badly fearful & in anxiety that she could not drive on most road, the highway/freeway, where there was railing, over railroad tracks, and over Bridges.
I think it took a year and a half to completely wear off for her, because her doctors ignored it. I am so glad she got rid of that Psych. I could rant about him with me,.. but I won't.
CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR! Tell them you are Manic with Anxiety and cannot sleep because of a Headache. The Headache just might be from high blood pressure from you being so hyper. And you may not notice you are Hyper but "I got alot done" is exactly what Manic people seem to say when they are... manic XD
If you can't see him immediately, take someone to have you check your Blood Pressure... just incase. If it's high I would suggest contacting a Hospital or Emergency Room,.. or haveing people monitor that you know,.. as Mania + Depression + Sleep Deprivation some times leads to deeper depression, not makeing good judgements, and posibly attempting Suicide out of the blue. If you child lives with you, you will want people to interact with them and them to be distracted but people to not act upset with you like you are sick. While you are Zooming about your child may be confused or scared. Without your better Judgement you may be allowing things like you wouldn't normally,.. which could be every child's dream but when you are actting weird is more like " Am I getting a Shot? Did someone die? Is mommy sick?"
Also would like to note, if you have any reason to fear your husband or he causes everyone stress with his behavior,.. then it's not totally your problem and shouldn't be COMPLETELY erased with Medication. Medication is intended to adjust the balance in unbalanced people to be appropriate and being upset when someone is abuseing you is appropriate. So even if you need something temperorially,.. the more calm you become because the longer you are away from the source of upset, the less you may need with time. And Talking is VERY helpful,.. even if online. If you are Angry, put it into exercise, sports, or some simulated violence where you can get it out of your system but you know you won't seriously be hurt.

This exact thing happened to me. In fact, when I finally realized there was a problem was when I got scared of my mother when we were casually talking. I told this to my doctor, and they took me off of it immediately. I thought it was absolutely terrible and unbearable, and I really wouldn't 'wait it out' in this circumstance. There are plenty of other drugs out there that won't have this same effect on you. I had these symptoms for a long time before I said anything, along with it sort of occasionally making my world 'shakey', and I really wish I had gone in earlier and requested something else. I hope that you can get on something that suits you a little better. You want to be stable, not anxious and off the walls.
Good luck.

Yes it will level out. Been taking it for two years now and have had great success with it (combined with Depakote). Initial reaction you describe is normal for the sudden increased dosage. Maybe a little more severe than most, but everyone reacts differently and this side effect is well documented.

You may want to see if your doctor can give you something to sleep. Wellbutrin is a highly effective antidepressant, however, headaches, insomnia and restlessness are very common. Dont let too much time pass before seeing him about it, as good sleep is important.

Call your local 24-hr pharmacy ask the pharmacist.
Your initial dose of the new medication may or may not
be an indication of how your body will adjust to it a week from now.

in all honesty, i never calmed down. i tried wellbutrin for depression for about 2 months. i was hyper as all hell, i couldn't sleep, and i was always very dizzy and nauseous. i do tend to be sensitive to medications but this was unreal. sorry for the tmi, but the constipation was out of control on wellbutrin. i gave it my best shot but enough was enough.
i went off of it and moved on to something else. don't be afraid to tell your doc if it isn't working for you. give it a little more time and if you haven't adjusted, move on.
