What part does religion play in daily stress? I

s it more stressful, do you think, in urban homes as opposed to rural homes?

Is Islam a more stressful religion than the others because it's such a dominating feature in a Muslim's life?

Does freedom from religion cause any stress?

Does it interfere in life? Does it shorten your day or week and make things more hectic?

Just wondering ...

I'm agnostic, so I don't have to go to church on Sunday, I don't have to fit into an obedient slot like all the other parishioners do, I don't have to follow any commandments other than the ones I set for myself, and I don't have any peers judging me and gossiping about me. I would say that's rather stress free.

I further my studies in life's purpose on my own, I ask questions and research the answers personally instead of accepting what everybody else tells me I must accept, or worse ... relying on a "Guide Book" that everybody tells me is the real thing.

I'm not worried about death because, for me, there is no hell or devil. You know how they say, "I'll believe it when I see it?" Well, I believe in the saying, "I'll see it when I believe it," so if I refuse to believe there's sentient evil roaming the streets looking for me, then I'll ignore it and it's possible influence on me is zero. And I'm not so gullible that I'd fall for any stupid "demony tricks."

I'd have to say I'm glad religion is not one more straw on my back of things to complicate my life. LOL

Your religion should not be stressful. If it is you are doing it wrong.

I am a Christian and as such, my religion keeps stress out of my life. Now I don't mean to say that I do not have stress, but it does not come from God. When I try to run my life by myself, and keep God on the sidelines, that's when the stress gets the better of me. I have to take a few minutes to breathe deeply and get back on track.

I have found that when you get to your wit's end, you find that God lives there.

I guess if you are atheist it can be quite stressful. I am a believer. I love Jesus and I am contented with my faith in God. i don't live my life 'WONDERING IF".

I strongly believe in GOD. He created all things.

Isaiah 45:18
John 3:16
Romans 10:9

Have faith dear friends in God.
