Why do some Christians spend so much time squabbling over evolution? If God created the world, and science is just learning facts ab the world he created, whats the problem? If God is all powerful why couldnt he create the universe using evolution, big bang, ect.? Darn, he could have done it in 7 nano-seconds for all it matters!
Its just...a pointless debate and I cant understand why its such a hot point....

I totally agree with the asker, and to the first answerer, proving evolution by no means makes the bible false, if you read genesis, the order in which everything was created is exactly the order that science spells out. The genesis creation would be just like revelation in that it would not be taken literally, but more as a summary or allegory, i mean, moses wrote genesis, and he wasnt there? Just like God revealed to John the apocalypse, and john wrote what he saw and knew the best he could for looking at least 2000 years into the future, God could have showed Moses the creation and moses wrote it in terms he understood.

"does it surely count number whether this international became into shaped by utilising skill of evolution or by utilising skill of creation?" definite of course it concerns. to assert otherwise is to assert that certainty would not count number. in actual actuality significant. To have faith in evolution is to disclaim the be attentive to God as that's written interior the bible. interior the e book of Genesis it states: Gen 2:a million for this reason the heavens and the earth have been finished, and each and all of the host of them. and.. Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his artwork ... It could no longer be clearer and as properly there is not any longer one scrap of information on the area of evolution, which isn't something greater advantageous than a theory. Why is there a debate?

The issue I have is how the question is usually presented. Usually it is asked in a way to bash or belittle anyone that might possibly have an issue with evolution. Evolution has not been proven. Plenty of scientist acknowledge the flaws in evolution.
I think too many evolutionists confuse the proof of adaptation within species to equal that as proof that evolution between species has been proven. It just hasnt. A true scientist would acknowledge the flaws.
You can think that it is the best theory we have right now, but soo many evolutionists hold to this theory as faithfully as they accuse creationists of holding to theirs.

A lot of people see the bible as literal and 100% true. And if you show then that parts are actually metaphoric, rather then literal, then their whole life is broken. On the flip side, it is bothering when people are ignorant to science in the year 2007.

We created the universe, and this statement is true if defined by spirituality or science. For reality to exist requires an observer.
Our perceptions from a biological viewpoint are based on our senses and our absorption of the information is based on our priorities so in a scientific view an alien species at the same intelligence level could consider the universe to be vastly different than us.
From the spiritual view there is only one being God and we are all manifestations of this being. From this perspective the environment is a product of our creative abilities as manifestations of God.
The one thing that science and faith can agree on is that “Perception is reality.”
Individuals that insist on being superstitious primitives that worship inanimate objects like certain books prove their superstition by claiming the contents infallible when said book(s) are demonstratively flawed. These beings are to egotistical to fathom spiritual truth while remaining to uninformed to conceptualize science. Their obsession with proving evolution false is based in their lack of faith. I wouldn’t concern myself with them, because they can only adversely affect society if those with better information about God and Science allow them to.
Just love them and place no moral judgment on them. Being judgmental is what seperates the immortal from the mortal. They can love sinners and hate sin all they like.

if you have learned from medical science to wash your food and wash your hands and bath you cut down on the spread of disease . All the prayer in the world never cut the spread of disease . Hence with some doubt I put my faith in science not superstition . Take it or leave it I'm not debating it anymore . that's my mindset.

The current scientific theories don't require a god. Its just cause and effect. Christians get mad because this basically says there is no need for god. And there is no need, especially since he does not exist.
If there was a god, there is no evidence supporting his existence. Just as there is no evidence supporting the flying spaghetti monster. Why believe in either when you have no reason to?

When people twist and distort God's word to make it fit science, that is a big problem. You have people now thinking they can't trust God's word because of bad science.
