Lets see if I can make this as easy to understand as possible. I was in a very serious relationship for about a year and a half. We even had a kid together. I recently broke up with him because he would not stop lieing to me. Now, the person who he thinks to be his best friend is really into me. Problem is this guy does not consider him to be his best friend. We both have liked each other for awhile now and we want to get together. Would this make me a bad person??

liers don't change.Its probably good you left this guy.No problem either if the other guy is decent.But just remember you have a child.Dont expose her,him to any new guys until the relationship gets serious.Kids get attached easily and get heart broken if they get close to the new person and then the relationship breaks up....Have fun but be careful with your childs feelings.

However... the codes on being a guy say that the best friend guy should ask your ex for permission to see you... and your ex should grant it, once asked.
