First of all, Alexandra: evolution is not JUNK science. Do more research about it. It doesn't say everything came from nothing. All creationism is is *point finger: tree, *point finger: duck, *point finger: sinful human. Creationism is more about things coming out of nowhere than Evolution.
Second, for all of you who say we need to teach it all. There are soooo many different religions, it would be impossible. As a matter of fact, a while ago, a Biology teacher said that if we teach everything that everyone believes, then we need to teach about the Flying Spaghetti Monster because that what was he believed. So, he was saying that it would be ridiculous to have to teach everything.
There is scientific evidence that evolution existed, and still exists. (ie appendixes, wisdom teeth, tonsils...) We don't need them anymore due to evolution.

According to the bible God states that christians are to spread the word of god on to others. Simple as that. As far as evolution....It is a theory. Granted it is highly regarded as fact among the scientific community....it is...in fact...can not as of yet be proven. The last part in your question however...."Why isnt learning about faith good enough..." is that as stated above as a christian and according to the bible you are to seek those not in belief and try to convert. Whether this is right or wrong can be debated but it is what the bible states. And really, it is what most monotheistic religions say, regardless if its Christianity or Islam. Personally, and this is coming from someone who doesnt affiliate himself with "Religion" it comes down to if you are going to offer theories as scientific fact then you should at least offer faith-based religion along with faith-based science as well.

why isn't learning about faith in church enough? Because every part of a Christian's life is sacred. You may not think so, and that is your choice to believe that, but please do not say that we have to leave our faith inside the door of the church on sunday. A true born again believer lives with his/her faith everyday- and if that means sharing about Christ in school, so be it. My kids come home from school, telling me that they hear so much stuff out of the mouths of those who arent Christian, however if they complain, they are told it is free speech= so please give us the same respect. We will not leave our faith on the doorstep of the church, Christ died for us and, if we are truly devoted followers we take Jesus with us wherever we go.

Well, christians go to school too. Why are athiests teaching your beliefs to christian children, furthermore, ever hear of creation science? There is just as much evidence supporting the bible's creation account as there is evolution, what most people dont realize is there is very little if any true proof of evolution, many scientists arent even sure about it anymore. Even Darwin stated that it was just an idea. You people try to take it as undeniable fact, if they are going to teach one THEORY they should teach another THEORY.

No one teaches that. It's illegal and if you do it it's basically 100% guarantee you're going to either lose your job or if you're tenured become miserable. It's getting annoying when people come in and complain about Christians teaching their THEORY of Creationism when schools are teaching their THEORY of evolution.

First of all tashabal... evolution has long back been thrown away by scientist. Scientist no longer consider evolution as true and there are no evidences for it. Which world are you in?

I dont agree with creationism being taught in science but your question goes both ways
Why do atheists insist on pushing their beliefs on everyone else?
The pledge of allegiance is just our national pledge that happens to have under God in it. If you dont believe in God just dont say that part. Why do atheists have to make such a big deal out of something they dont even claim to believe in. Overwhelming majority believes in God. Will it kill you to just ignore the part that says under God and allow the over 90 percent of others to have that small little acknowledgement?

I'm a Christian and I fought against the teaching of creationism back in 1980. 27 years later the issue hasn't gone away. Don't confuse Christians with Creationists.

good questions........
since the nature of the Christian is spreading good news of salvation, i think that's is not a big deal. the problem is the decision is on you yourself whether you accept it or ignored it. since science believe to the theory evolution so they believe they are monkeys, while Christians are 100% HUMAN BEINGS, WITHOUT THE INTERFERE OF SCIENCE OR OTHER ILLOGICAL THAT AGAINST THE BIBLE.
