First of all, if you've come here to flame, I would appreciate it if you would take your "insight" elsewhere. Every day I see Christians posting hundreds of questions, and I need not the discrimination of your ignorance.
Okay... so I have been following Satanism for going on 4 years now...
I fear I may be losing a rather large portion of my Faith in Satanism. I have followed the IX Commandments to the best of my abilities and constantly see myself becoming a better person because of it. But as I begin to, for lack of a better term, "grow up" and realize the world around me, things just seem helpless at times, and I am left almost hopeless in my pursuits. Please, indulge me in some sort of advice to renew and rebirth my beliefs.
...Okay, now time for the first part of my question to be ignored. Let the reporting begin! ;-)

Former Atheist: Though I'm sure the countless "thumbs down"s you're eventually going to receive will make it obvious, you're prodding your nose in unwanted territory. I posted that first paragraph for people like you -- the ignorant. Left-hand Path Satanism, despite its name, has very little to do with a Theistic Satan. Take your folklore elsewhere. Thanks.

BGrimey -- No Satanist claims to be an Atheist. That's why it's labeled SATANISM. Yes, we have commandments so to speak, but not really. More like "guidelines," as they are not stated at the Christian Decalogue (ie: Thou Shall Not...), but more like a conversation (Satan represents indulgence, etc...). Remember... to speak without thinking is to shoot without aiming.

GreySkie: You are a true, uncorrupt follower of the Christian belief, and to be fair, I thank you for your input. You did not come here to shove the word of God down anybody's throat, but rather to offer logical advice. The world would be a much better place indeed if more Christians took this outlook on life.

It's entirely possible that your beliefs are evolving, you are changing, etc., and your faith may ebb and flow as a result. Perhaps you are ready to explore other faiths...perhaps you need to do some soul-searching and think about whether or not you still believe as you have. Re-read any texts that have influenced your beliefs...seek new ones and read them as well (even those of other faiths -- I've found insight within the Qur'an, the Bible, AND the Satanic Bible).
Just don't assume that this crisis of faith will resolve itself overnight. It may take a long time, and it may be a painful process. You may find yourself more firmly believing in your current beliefs, or you may find yourself believing in something completely different. As someone who went through many years of agonizing soul-searching before making the transition from Christian to Born Again Atheist, I wish you good luck in your journey, and I hope you find peace.

I am a Christian but all I have to say to you is if the shoe doesn't fit anymore don't wear it. There are a lot of paths out there and what works for you at one point in your life may not cut it 10 years down the road. Life is a journey and we evolve all along the way. Whatever path you're on make sure that it's one that allows for growth or else you will most certainly experience disillusionment. And that's just general spiritual advice that I'd give to anyone.

I'm assuming that you are following LeVey's teachings.
But I do not understand why there is such conflict.
As long as you study the Satanic teachings,
there should be no conflict.
But be wary my friend, there are these
Christians out there who want to corrupt
you by telling you that hell is such an evil place.
Remember, these people want to turn you
away from your true path.
While I am not of the same faith as you.
I am a Pagan and I have been
attacked by these same people
for my non-belief in the religion.
Look at their history,
they have killed in the name of their god,
persons who did not conform
to their way of believing.
So, I say dear friend,
read your texts and come to terms with your beliefs
or recant and find a new path to follow.
But beware of Christians:
They do not practice what they preach.

definite I even have faith in humanity. To me it skill that human beings are good creatures, capapable of doing super good to the universe and followers of God. the biggest undertaking interior the planet, for my section, isn't being knowledgeable. (would not count number if its via fact of low earnings, loss of pastime or undesirable faculties) If all of us on earth have been given a good training, the international may well be close to to a utopia. Any undesirable/evil individual the two is loopy (unlucky psychological ailment) or had undesirable impacts in life, that should all be prevented if the international is greater knowledgeable and human expertise will develop. indexed below are some examples of what ought to take place if all of us who ever lived became into given the possibility for a good training human beings like Hitler might in no way have been prompted to hate Jews well-being might interior the international may well be a lot greater advantageous scientific expertise might advance a lot quicker technological understanding and technologies might advance a lot quicker much less pollutants/waste etc

Go to joyofsatan.org. It's about spiritual satanism, and should be interesting.
I know i sound preachy, but i really don't know how to put it into a less preachy way. I don't mean to sound like a preacher.
Anyway, that website might interest you a lot, although ultimately you, and nobody else, should choose what you believe in.
But whatever you do, please, just don't fall for that awful scam that is Christianity. You know, "Save your soul now for only $50 dollars plus religious blessing fees of $100 dollars! Save your soul now and get a free copy of the Bible!".

Trust me on this one...get out of that "faith" before you screw something up.
SATAN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU
He's selfish and just wants glory, he couldn't care less if you died tomorrow...in fact, he'd get his kicks from watching it! Do you really want to serve someone like that?
You are not going to get what you want without having to "pay the price". Get out before you get in too deep.
God, on the other hand, does care about you and deserves miles more respect than Satan does. It may not seem like it when you look around the world today, but there's a reason for that. All that God asks from us is obedience, and this obedience only benefits us anyway. Satan doesn't want you to benefit yourself in the long run. He wants you to pursue your own selfish desires...which only leads to emptiness and sorrow.

FAITH first of all comes from within YOU. Satanist, christian, toilet bowl worshiper whatever. I used to be a satanist, but one of the order of the DEVIL and doing his will for power, not this crap people call satanism today. Everyone nowadays is an actor wants to play a role to impress people. From all you put on this question, you do not stand on your conviction to serve your master and believe me that is all you will be doing with this ***hole. Good Luck, you'll need it. Satan never gives anything without a price attached to it, just mark my words.....

Become an atheist. Many satanists I know (!'m assuming you're a LeVaian Satanist) have eventually gone the atheist rout. It's just the next logical step, really. Lol the remarks of the fundies on this one is bound to be entertaining.
TheAmazingAtheist, a user n youtube, was at one time a LaVeyan Satanist; you might want to check out his vids.

So you're just going to give up? What would happen if EVERYONE gave up? (Except for the Zoloft company becoming the richest company in the world?)
You need to continue to do that you're doing. You're a good person, living your life in a way that does not harm others, and that in itself is a magnificent accomplishment.
Everytime you begin to lose hope, think about all the other people you could set an example for, and whose lives you could change.

What are you complaining about, Bush and his cohorts are already in power. Where do the lines of communication between Satan and his followers break down?
