I think I may have an abscess tooth, my molar hurts like crazy and I have some other symptoms as well. I'm taking antibiotics, but can't go to the dentist for about a month (insurance issues) Will this be OK?

In the mean time, gargle often with Listerine. Also gargle with warm water + salt. And take Tylenol for the pain. And always brush after each meal.

If you really have an abscessed tooth, a month's delay could have serious consequences. If using an antiseptic mouth wash and brushing and flossing daily don't give you some improvement in a few days you should really consult the dentist sooner than a month.

Take OTC pain medicine, go to the dentist ASAP. Delays may led to more complication.
