Promise Ring Pairs

For my Love, I was so cheap it came out of a Cracker Jack Box.... Don't do that... We still got married... Yeah!!!!

Shop around on line to get some ideas and go to flea Markets and malls and see what they have... The engagement ring was from a store at a mall ( and my first credit line... be care full and make sure you can make those payments)

Some On line Stores with good pricing and sizes:
www.limogesjewelry.com
www.buydazzle.com
www.zales.com

Make sure you can trade up if you move to the next step. You want to keep all the options open. Hers I upgraded and mine was handed down though the family... I traded it in years later.

A promise ring is a piece of jewelry given when an agreement or oath has been made between two people and the ring is meant as a memento of that commitment.

Sample oath for your Love: http://library.lovingyou.com/poetry/18/18099.shtml

Last but not least... Make it special... flowers, dinner, picnic, or what ever is special for her....

Good Luck,
JR

Um...I'm not trying to discourage you or anything but where I come from promise rings are a huge no no. I've only seen them cause problems and bad luck in relationships. Every friend of mine (and even got one myself once) were in perfectly healthy happy relationships but for some reason after being given promise rings everything fell apart. It's seen in the same way as someone who gets a tattoo of their bf's or gf's name on their body. Everyone sees that and it like "Uh oh that wont last forever"...well we say the same thing about promise rings...just "Uh oh..." and the girl who gets it doesn't listen. A few months later she's calling us up crying all the time because all they do is fight. I'm not trying to be mean but what does a promise ring stand for? It's a promise to what? Always be there for them? To marry them someday? If you know you're going to marry them someday (for sure) that's what engagement rings are for. At the time that I got mine it was supposed to be a promise to be "together forever" even though we were only 16 and both knew it Probably wouldn't happen that way. Just saying to think seriously about it. A promise is a promise so if your 100% sure that you will be "together forever" wait until you are ready to settle and set a date and save your money for an even better engagement ring. It doesnt matter if you give it to her now or 3 years from now if you're positive she's the one. Then again there are exceptions to every story!!! So, if you feel it in your gut and in your heart dont listen to me at all. But if you have any doubt at all...Think about it. I'm not trying to be mean and Im not sure if this all sounded that way. I just cant, in good conscience, sit here and tell you just what I think you want to hear. Good luck with whatever you decide!!!

you can find them at Walmart or on Ebay. Or you could even find a special sometimes at Zales or KayJewelers. My fiance got me one then I got him one, I went to Zales but then ended up finding the same thing at Walmart cheaper. A guy friend went to walmart and found one for his girlfriend (my bff) and it was real diamonds and didn't cost that much. You could look around at local stores in your hometown, sometimes those family owned buisnesses are the best! And don't listen to anyone, if you like the idea of a promise ring, get it. If you want to wait for an engagement ring, go ahead. It's your life and your decision. People always say rings and name tattoos cause problems, it's not that, if you're not meant to be, you're not meant to be. If you are you will know. Oh and if you're trying to get matching promise rings, then sometimes wedding bands can be substituted for promise rings, I know it sounds odd but it works, sometimes you can hit it just right that you'll get a pair of wedding rings on sale and they'll be perfect!! Good luck

Try looking at any jewelry shop. Promise rings are generally less expensive than engagement rings so you should be able to afford them. It's very sweet that you want to get her a promise ring, my bf gave me one as well 2 years ago.

everywhere has them. check local jewelry stores, jcpenny, sears, walmart. like i said everywhere. it just depends on what ur looking for at what kind of price. my little brother (hes almost 18 but still little in my eyes) just got his gf one. he went to a locally owned jewelry store. they have a layaway option which was perfect for him. at his age he couldnt afford an expensive purchase all at once plus it taught him more of money management (he had to take out of his 'extra' money to buy it) even further more he was proud when he gave it to her that HE paid for it and all of it rather than paying for half and getting the other half off r mother. sorry to ramble on w/ my story but the point is if u have a small budget perhaps u could find something like that.

My boyfriend found mine at Walmart. It wasn't very expensive. The price does not matter, it is the thought behind the ring that counts.

The Mall - Kiosks are great look for clauda rings (Irish wedding bands). Great promissory rings, lots of varieties, inexpensive, & they come in all sizes. if you have fingers bigger than 14 try flea markets to keep it cheap.

I dislike the idea of promise rings, it's better to live without them, they only add conflict into a nice relationship. To me, a ring stands for something to ease insecurity..

I love the promise type of rings they have at c28.

You can see their rings here: http://www.c28.com/shopping/productlistings3.asp?category1=jewelry&category3=rings

If you don't know what size you are, you and her can get sized at any jewlery store.
