Your gonna hear Mommy Mommy for years when you leave them, so just be strong. Within 10 mon after you leave them they will be playing happily. This is part of it....As mothers we like to think they need us so much they will die without us, NOT SO... Let them get accustomed to you leaving. Just do it a little at a time over a week or so. Have someone they are accustomed to come over and play with them you leave the area for while and you'll see they are fine, soon it will become normal. You may have to go back to work someday or go to appointments, just get away with hubby, and wouldn't it be comforting to know they are ok????

Sorry, but that is what to expect when they are that age. But here is something you can try.....put on a piece of music they enjoy and try to get them to play together quietly for the length of one song. When they can do that - try two songs - then three. There is lots of fun kids music.

Be sure when you get them to play alone - you reward them with time with you.

I know you don't think it now - but there will come a day when you will miss this time when they think you are the center of their universe. Try to enjoy while you can.
