SHUM OR SHUME (writed) means "a lot"

for example te dua shume= i love you a lot

shume keq = very bad

Shum - means many but it means a lot as well, i.e.

shum mir - very well, but

faliminderit shum - thanks a lot

BTW, what was.....kosova....about? If you refer to differences in the language in Albania and on Kosovo, they are practically insignificant despite some attempts to show Gega and Tosca as different languages. The issue is equivalent to UK and US English or Serbian and Croatian, meaning NO SIGNIFICANT differences.
