i do understand what you are saying - the world is cruel & crazy
but i often refer to the story of Peter walking "to Jesus" on water - He was fine with it - and was doing it UNTIL He took his eyes off Jesus ! then he started to sink.
My answer is keep your eyes on Jesus -
stay in His word daily -
listen to Christian music -
watch Christian t.v-
hang out with "real" Christian friends -
that don't tempt you to go to worldy places *
Jesus knows the world's getting harder to live in - and He will provide you with reassurance and strength if you ask Him too .
I pray that you get victory in persecution !
Prayerfully Your Sister in Christ,
Toni C

I am a christian teen about to turn 15 on in two days. It's so hard for me to resiste the temptation. About 2 years ago I had sex multiplty times, and I was NOT a christian at the time. Now that I have become a christian, I have found that it is harder not to have sex than to have sex and feel bad about it. As for your questions. No both guys and girls have temptations. Guys probably more than girls but thats just a guess. Now that I am a christian, I don't try at all to pare up with anyone. Just wait till the right guy comes along. I hope this helps, sorry it dosn't answer all your questions

I agree with puppy yap. All you have to do is look at the things of the world and see where they have lead the people who are in the world. You are at the age where things look good because you were never able to do them before because you were under age. If temptations bother you, go to God in prayer and ask for the strength to over come them. And find a Church that you trust and believes the same way you do, or if you have one, go to some one you trust for guidance and support. That is what they are suppose to be there for. But keep the faith and trust in God and He will help you to over come the temptations. As you get older, you will find that you really don't need those things to be happy. Good luck and God bless.

We all have similar experiences. It's easier to do the wrong thing. It also usually seems more fun. It just doesn't work out for us in the long run. God knows what temptations you are facing. Pray to Him for strength. Don't be so hard on yourself.

Matthew 7 reads
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Yes, it is hard for all who wish to follow Christ! We have to die to our own desires of the flesh every day! But day by day God gives us the victory! If you do fall, the blood of Christ is there to cover your sins. But keep your eyes on the prize of salvation and you will be just fine! Keep reading and studying your Bible! Apply what you learn! Devote time to just talking with the Lord in prayer! Remember, there are a lot of BIG temptations out there. But we worship a BIG God who is able to give you the battle! You are more than a conqueror in Christ! You are a son of the Most High God with whom ALL things are possible! Your Father sits on the throne! You are royalty and so keep the faith, you have the DNA of a champion and are able to defeat the flesh through Christ!

May the Lord bless you and make His face shine on you!

Yes I did find it hard when I was your age and I drifted away for many years.
But you are in a different age and I can see that there are a lot more temptations around you.
My advice to you would be to seek Christian friends and keep praying especially that God helps you to not be tempted.

there are times it can be hard, but remember we are to separate from the world. At times it is almost easier to stand out then to blend in especially when you realize that even if no one else sees what you do God does. I have found that the times when I really think that I am going to do something to ruin my testimony is when God sends a message that makes me realize no matter what I do or where I go HE is always with me do I want Him to see me do this.

Hard absolutely but not impossible just remember that the difference between us and the non believers is that we have admitted to being sinners and have confessed it to God and not another man.
God Bless! Keep up the good fight!

I dont think any of us are without sin. I feel blessed every day to have a loving God who forgives me and knows my heart.
I feel humbled that Christ loves me and no matter what I do he will walk and stand beside me.
Of course, this doesnt mean I go out and cheat, lie and steal.
I just do the best I can and pray often.

*** w59 3/15 p. 163 Can You Resist Temptation? ***

How can we resist temptations? Jesus Christ showed us how. When tempted by the Devil, Jesus always relied on God’s Word, the Bible, and appealed to God in prayer. Thus he was able to thwart all temptations brought against him. At the close of his earthly ministry Jesus said to his followers: “Keep on the watch and praying, that you may not enter into temptation.” So gain an accurate knowledge of God’s Word and rely on it as Jesus did, watch as Jesus did, pray as he did and you too will resist temptation and win the prize of life.—Matt. 26:41.
