Do aborted babies go to heaven or purgatory? I know the Vatican recently changed that unbaptised children go to heaven now instead of purgatory.
But what happens to aborted fetuses?

Also Marcellus I believe you are wrong. It as official Vatican policy for hundreds of years that unbaptized children (including aborted babies) go to limbo or purgatory

They go to heaven since purgatory only exists as a ski resort

Limbo was never a policy of the Catholic Church. Purgatory is biblical, read the parable of the rich man a Lazarus. Also read where Jesus went after the crucifixation, paradise is another word for purgatory. Purgatory is not hell. Purgatory is a place of cleansing our souls, because nothing unclean can be in the presence of God. All babies and children before the age of reason go to heaven

of course aborted fetuses go to heaven, as do children who have not reached the age of accountability after birth. Purgatory is not biblical. There is a heaven, and there is a hell, and we have a merciful God that takes unborn and born babies directly to be with Him- and then when we reach the age of accountability then God asks us to come to Him in repentance and ask Jesus to be our Savior. God knew each of those aborted fetuses, which are unborn children, by the way, long before they were conceived.

Dear one, please know there is no such thing as purgatory or limbo!
If babies/children die before the age of accountability, they automatically go into God's arms. There is absolutely no doubt about that!
And the age of accountability is different in each individual. It means - old enough to know the difference between right and wrong and old enough to make a clear decision for Christ.
God bless!

You're very misinformed on this issue. The Vatican hasn't changed anything, the Pope isn't God he can't just make a place non-existent anymore. The theory was that unbaptized babies go to LIMBO which isn't PURGATORY, but that wasn't a doctrine of the Church, it was just a theory. Now Pope Benedict reaffirms that we don't know what happens to unbaptized babies, but we are to trust in God's Mercy, the same goes for aborted fetus.

Psa 22:9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
Psa 22:10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
In these verses the Bible tells us that God knows us "from the womb". If He knows us from the womb then He considers us a person, not a fetus.
Children, born or unborn, are considered innocents since they have not learned right from wrong. Therefore, babies and unborn babies do go to Heaven...regardless of what the Pope or Catholic Church has ever taught.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
According to this verse, there is no such thing as Purgatory.

I agree with those who say purgatory is not a biblical tenet. Aborted fetuses would go directly to heaven as they have not reached the age of accountability.

They are innocent and have had no chance to sin therefore they would go to Heaven. This includes aborted fetuses.

Aborted babies automatically go to heaven. They are not old enough to answer to God. God takes care of them.
Mommy, today is my birthday. I am 4 months old.
Mommy I have toes and I am a girl. Mommy, Please don't be sad any more.
Mommy what is that doctor saying mommy? What is an abortion mommy?
Mommy I love you. Mommy I can fall asleep to your heartbeat.
Mommy do you love me?
Mommy I am in heaven now Mommy. God told me what an abortion is Mommy.
Mommy why didn't you want me? Why don't you love me?
Mommy why can't I ever see the light of day? Mommy I still love you.
Mommy God will take care of me now and I will be loved .
Mommy today is my birthday I am 5 years old now and I still don't understand why you didn't want me mommy
Mommy! You came to see me Mommy!
Mommy what happened to you? You don't know your little girl anymore mommy? You don't love me Mommy? Why did I have to die Mommy?
Mommy I still love you

Of course they go to Heaven.....There are many Scriptures about God & Jesus love of children and unless the rest of us can be innocent & humble like them, we will not make it to the Kingdom...it also says if anyone hurts one of his children, they'de be better off drowning themselves than to face his wrath....there are entire books written about it...one that comes to mind about life, death and the afterlife is very good for anyone who has lost a loved one, particularly a child
