here is a simple explanation of the sovereignty of God, and the free moral agency of man.

God created the earth. He then put you here, and allows you to decide to worship and serve him or go your own way.

you can do anything you want, on earth, to include building a rocket and going to the moon if you so desire.

the world is your oyster.

when you die, you will give an account of your life, not to see if you did enough good to get to heaven, but to punish you for every sin you committed.

Does God exist? the truth is, you can wear a cross go to church and do everything the bible says Christians are suppose to do, and still die in your sins, Unless you accept Jesus Christ as God and ask him to be your savior, you will die in your sins.

Funny thing, Jesus was not impress that people believe in God, he said the demons do that and tremble

God is omnipotent, and He does have the power to demonstrate to you, however, He never forces Himself on anyone- and that demonstrable power that you are referring to will be demonstrated to you, either at death, or when Jesus comes so step out in faith, my friend, trust Jesus and you will see His power before it is too late.

Are you serious you would crap your pants just from the sound of his voice. Just as the Hebrews did in the Sinai desert, they were terrified and ask Moses to intercede, they did not want to here it again. He has power over everything even you. He gave you free will for all of you life.

The fact of your mortality will eventually demonstrate to your satisfaction how little control you have over your destiny. Humans did not decide for themselves to subscribe to term limits.
