oh, talent wasted on arrogance and ignorance.
I bet you're so proud of yourself for this.

Well for one thing, raising several people from the DEAD was so much more important. Not to mention rising from the dead himself.
And I have a feeling that even if Jesus did make a mountain move into the sea, then you would have a reason why this isn't good enough proof, and you'd like him to do something else, and then something else...

Because 2000 years later, people would still be saying that the mountain was there through geological processes - nobody made it "jump" there.
He did plenty of miracles - so what? People still say they didn't happen - even people who lived at that time but weren't present said they didn't happen. People always say, "It's a fraud," or "It's your imagination."
Bread and circuses - these do not give anyone faith except those who were there - and the number of those is intentionally kept small. To have faith you have to have free choice - the power to decide for yourself without undue influence. Tossing mountains around takes that choice away - then and now.

I believe that Jesus wants us to believe and receive his precious gift of grace willingly and by faith. He could easily make a mountain jump into the sea or strike a man down with lightning and command, "I am the Almighty God, worship Me!" Under this type of duress, any rational person would believe.
As it stands, Jesus did perform many miracles while he was in his earthly body. What he says to Thomas in 20th chapter of the book of John verse 29 makes his intentions transparent: "Because you have seen me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

He did plenty of other things that were just as miraculous. Besides there are some things He said that required people to use their heads - like a mountain of troubles fading away into the sea of forgetfulness.

It was make a fig tree implant itself in the sea and just move a mountain but, I say that the mountain does move----not only location geographically but in time because during the Catholic Mass--- Mnt. Calvary is moved to our time and we are there at the same crucifixion that took place 2,000 years ago (apprx.) This is with Faith the size of a mustard seed.

Why would Jesus spend so much time emphasizing the value of faith and then do something that would make it possible for everyone to believe in him without it?
One day he will give us that kind of proof...until then, for reasons known only to him, God knows that faith is something we all need!

You wouldn't believe there is a Jesus , if He was in front of you. So stop pretending, who are you fooling , not the Christians on here, we have the discernment of God.

The Jesus of the Bible is a mythical character in a book. If there is some long lost historical origin to the Jesus character, no-one knows anything about it.

Why does He have to prove anything to anyone? Wasn't coming here as a man, dying a horrible death and rising again enough?
