I do no believed that Nissan Car has a high cost for replacement. I have a Nissan car and over the period of 18 years of maintaining my car, the total cost is less than RM8,000 ringgit only. This included changing of engine oil every 5,000 km and changing the oil filters every 10,000 km. Replacement parts and changing of parts that need to be change for example timing belts, clutch plate and so on......
Other car like Honda, Mercedes and other expensive car are more costly in the replacement parts. I remember last few month my friend replace one of the screen wiper for the Mercedes costing him about RM 350.00 ringgit where I replace a screen wiper for my Nissan car just costing me about RM 15.00 ringgit.

All car parts are expensive if you were to build a car over the parts counter it would cost 100,000 or more for a 30,000 car. warehousing and profit made as the part changes hands. I work at a car dealership and I am some times amazed that a A/C compressor costs $600 dollars. In the 60's an entire engine would be $450, Now a 5.6 liter v-8 engine costs over $5,000 dollars
With proper maintence new cars use very few replacement parts. Even wear items last longer lighter weight cars better engineering fuel injection. A new car these days may only need one or two warranty visits and last over 200,000 miles
