It's easy to make eggless icing...basic buttercream frosting/icing is:
1/3 cup butter
3 cups powdered sugar (same as confectioner's sugar)
1 tsp. vanilla (or other flavoring)
3 Tbs. milk

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth. Add a little more milk, a teaspoon at a time, if needed. If too thin, refrigerate for about 15 minutes and beat again. If still too thin, refrigerate longer or add more sugar. You can also add some food color to tint the icing.

There are lots of eggless cookie recipes out there, but the ones I can think of wouldn't use frosting. Buy you can find eggless cake recipes.

Try foodnetwork.com or the Better Homes & Gardens website (bhg.com) for lots of recipes.

Happy birthday to your daughter.
