This is a Christian nation--Islam is the fastest growing religion. Christians cannot afford to lose more Christians and this thought is extremely painstaking to them, therefore they do all in their power to suppress the Qu'ran, or give a distorted version they made up with twisted verses and claim it to be valid. How sick.
This is a secular country, yet you will find Bibles in hotels, more churches than people with an abundance of churches but a significant lack of and consideration of others' worship, a Christian Holy channel, etc., but no other religion, except perhaps Jewish, as Christians have formally allied with the Jews even secretly for years, will ver be "advertized". This is, as I said, sick, as they have the power to do such things.

It's not something people really share publicly. It's a private thing. Some people make a real circus out of Bibles.
We have the family Quran, despite no longer being Islamic. As the religious scholar in the family I guess I got to keep it.
They're around. I encourage you to read one. It can be quite informative.

Do you live in the Bible belt? 'Cause they're readily available in my part of the country. Bantam books even makes a paperback version for like, $7.

There are some around, in general bookstores. There is one on my desk, which I refer to when answering questions about it, or about Islam generally.
