well, Ive passed the asvab, passed everything else except protein in my urine, I went to the doctors today and tested negative for protein, yet positive for trace amounts of blood, the test results wont be back for a few days, but if Im fine, and it wasnt anything to worry about, (which the doctor thinks thats the case) will that little set back prevent me from enlisting, even if there isnt a persistant problem? Or can I get a waiver for this, and if its a kidney stone, are there waivers for that? thanx ppl

even a kidney stone won't necessarily;y be a permanent DQ. at most, they will make you wait a few weeks to make sure there isn't persistent blood in your urine , which rules out more serious issues.

Hopefully you have a clean test, but yes you can get a waiver for kidney stones. Nothing you can do but wait it out & have your recruiter write up the waiver requests if anything comes up. You should be fine. If you really have too much time on your hands, look up the reg w/ the med standards, but again don't worry or over think things too much. It's just part of the process.
