There have been long periods of time when I thought I would die from the things going on in my life but somehow when I would give up the fight, God would take over and get me through. God wants us to have faith in Him to do what is best for us, His children, and even though sometimes it might be painful to us, it still ends up being for our own good. Our parents, well those of us who had regular parents, disciplined us and it was painful sometimes but it was for our own good. Just ask Him to come closer to you so you can build your relationship and get to know what He wants for you.

Been there,... where your describing! I think that if your searching for God, and at the point that you want to declare.. "You Win." To the Lord God, that He would be more than happy to hear that! Sometimes He does TEST us, and the Bible makes that perfectly clear...the "test" is NOT so that He can "know" how we will do...but so that WE will learn that HE is able to get us thru the situations (or these storms of our lives) To be a "Christian" is never as "easy" as some that have NEVER attempted to even try, claim that it is! The "Way" is narrow, and FEW are they that find it, (or stay on it) it is a difficult "road" filled with "tribulations" (look that word up in the dictionary) a life spent here on this Earth following God, is not always a "bowl of cherries". More often than not, it is filled with the "Pitts". So why follow after God? Why learn of Him, thru His Mighty Word (the Bible)?? Because it is FAR worth the pressures!! It is magnificent to reach the goal! To win the prize that is more glorious than we can possibly imagine! If God is applying "pressure" then RUN to Him, He WILL answer your questions! Read the Bible...the answers really are there! May He bring you safely thru all your trials, as you learn to trust in Him alone!

I was just in that spot about a year ago. For me, it wasn't a matter of giving up or not winning....it was more along the lines of forgetting who I was and who I should be trusting. There are times when everything that you do (and you might do everything right....maybe even perfect) just won't cut it. It is those times that you must trust in the Lord to provide. Don't give up on what you need to do, but don't worry about it either. Have faith that God will be there. It took 6 months but He gave me exactly what I needed.

Keep holding that head up. No matter what don't give up. Tomorrow will definitely be a better day, keep telling yourself that. No one said it would be easy, there's a reason why you going through all of this, you might not understand now but you will eventually. We all go through things in life, these are all life experience and things we have to go through to get closer to him. There is a saying, GOD doesn't give us anything we can't handle. Find the strength, trust me it's in you. Tomorrow will be a better day. :)

You sound really frustrated and so familiar. I know how you feel. I have gone through times that I felt shattered. A more accurate description would be I feel like I am in the center of a toilet bowel and just as the water stops swirling and your getting to the top to breath ... Then someone flushes the toilet over and over and over again leaving you struggling to get back to the top all the while you gasp and struggle and fight .. . This last year has been a challenge for me.
The thing you have to keep in perspective is what in the world would happen if God were not here helping me through this time in my life.? I don't even want to know.
I don't believe God punishes us or tests us in the traditional sense. I think that God allows us to deal with the consequences of this sinful world. He allows us the freedom to make choices and gives us the power of free will. .... that means we still have to deal with the consequences of other peoples actions too.
Life is never going to be easy if it were then we would not need God.. How would we grow as people and develop . Life is so hard sometimes.
I certainly wish I knew something to say that would heal you and help you though whatever it is that your facing.... Really the only thing I can say is I know exactly how you feel. My circumstances may be different but my feelings are the same . I have had periods in life that totally make no sense. Sometimes we are left so confused and frustrated.........
I figure God enjoys a challenges and has an amazing sense of humor. After all he made me. I can not count the times that I have informed God " I have enough with the character development lessons for now and I no longer need to work on becoming more patience, would you please make my world run completely smooth now thanks"
You know I was really upset last week and dealing with a lot. I was running a certain situation though my head over and over as I was driving to the bank. At the red light right before the bank parking lot wouldn't you know there was a re route of traffic. I was so annoyed. I had to drive 3 blocks in the opposite direction to end up where I would have ended up had I just been allowed to drive 15 more feet. But no because they had it all block off and to add to my annoyance I didn't see anything activity going on all I could focus on was the construction workers as they were leisurely enjoying their beverage on the side of the road. I started down the re routed course with my irritated attitude and as I turn the corner I saw this huge sign in an old grocery store parking lot. In big white letter the sign said " Stop! God has got it under control. " Like I said God has a sense of humor. I was amused. I took a picture of the sign on my cell phone to email to my mom because she needed a laugh that day to.
Every day I cant help but look to God and say" Lord I am totally interested how your going to help me work through this spot in my life. I just know I am going to be amazed at how you work this out." I figured that I need to let him know this is to big of a mess for me to fix incase that detail was not crystal clear. . I quit trying to figure out the " Why" that I am going through what I am dealing with and just accept that God knows the "why" I probably would not understand it at this time in my life.
I hope your year gets better. Every day is new and you can get through it . For me I really try to focus on the day and not what I have got to deal with tomorrow. If we focus on the road blocks we will go crazy. God is still dealing with our lives and working in the back ground.
To Quote a sign put up in an abandoned grocery store parking lot. " Stop! God has got it under control.

We all have times like that. Sometimes it is because we are trying to solve the problem our way and not letting God take control of it. It happened to Joseph every time he tried to take control. You have to trust and have faith things will work out. Remember tribulation leads to perseverance which will lead to a stronger Christian character.
God Bless.

maybe you are too hard on yourself
remember God does not Judge us or see us the way we do
the soul man wants what it wants and you have to learn that all things will come in time and you can't do it all right all the time
cast all your cares on Jesus he loves you and cares for you
keep on going, you are strong in the Lord and the power of his might, God is in control, he always wins for you, you just need to stand still and see the glory of God
The battle is not yours, it is the Lords, he will fight for you
Peace, love and prayers and take it easy

Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).
