Order a pedigree here: http://www.akc.org/store/reports/
When you order a paper pedigree (example: http://www.areakode.com/abbyful/segami/puppy/AKC_ped.jpg )
You will also have a "research pedigree" available for a certain number of days online. Here is what a research pedigree looks like:

You can print this off, or if you chose "save-as" on your web browser, you can save the webpage to your computer locally.

the breeder you purchased your dog from should have given you papers with the parents names and registration numbers and a part that you fill out with your name and who the dog's owner is, the registered name that you will be giving your dog, your adress, phone number, etc. they also give you the option to purchase a three or four year pedigree at the same time you send in the registration for your dog, which i think cost $30 dollars or so, along with the $20 dollars or so it costs to register your dog, you have to pay extra for the pedigree. i know this because that is what i did when i registered my dog. if you didn't get the pedigree but got the papers for your dog only, you can call them or fax them and you'll get it pretty quickly.

Order it from AKC. You can do it online. Or when you register the litter, you can buy a pedigree for the puppies.

If she is AKC registered for real you would have her papers, and her AKC number if you have that and no papers call the AKC with her number and they would probably be able to send you her papers, or pedigree, you just need her registered number. If she is NOT officially registered but bother her parents are you just need their numbers to get her papers and register her to get her pedigree. If she is registered the AKC has her pedigree and you just need to contact them to get it.

The AKC or you could have another company...do a search for "dog" or "canine pedigree service". I used this one several years ago and was happy with them. I discovered them through a "Dog World" magazine advertisement. http://www.leidigspedigrees.com/

If she's AKC registered, you can call the AKC and have it mailed to you. Probably they would fax it to your number or a fax number you can use. Or maybe you can do it online.
