im 14 years old and next year ill be in highschool, i got good grades and im going to take AP classes.

one of the main things that are stated by my teachers is that i should enlist in volunteer work to improve my resume.

i won the PTA essay contest but i dont think that will be enough to satisfy ivy league colleges.

im looking to volunteer for some organization, but can't decide what it should be.

i like charity work, i can both help people and improve my chances to getting into the ivies.

thank you!

Dude, if youre taking AP classes then I would suppose youre in Honor Society. If youre not in it join it. Teachers say it looks GREAT on college resumes. They do volunteer work and stuff like that. The same goes for Student Co. And Key Club. They look GREAT on resumes. They encourage us at our school to do those clubs( which i did)

Just came from there, been twice this year, you are definitely needed. Also check out rebuildlakeshore.com, I was there, they help people build houses using volunteers like you. I would say going to the gulf coast anywhere would be your best bet.
