Because he is being selfish.
Step outside of the box , turn the tables for a minute..."if you were 22 yrs older than a boy, would you marry him" of course you wouldn't? Why? Let him LIVE his life as you have already lived yours. Let Him have fun..at his age...as you have already had your fun. Let him laugh and learn Love's mistakes and tribulations at his level of life not yours.
What I'm trying to show you is that a selfish older person would take the youth of your life and expect you to eventually act his age. It is not fair for you, if one day you do not satisfy him and he seeks a more adult (his age) woman to accommodate him when he gets restless for a woman to take over the front seat and drive for him. (Tired of playing the teacher role and wish to play student)
If he is 22 yrs your senior, I promise eventually after the novelty wears off ...he will seek a more experienced flair.
This is not Fair to you..and by then you would have given him your hand in marriage and feel stuck.

it depends on your age, there is nothing wrong with a woman that is 65 with a man who is 87, other than the fact that the woman may spend some time alone.
however if you are like under 25, it might be weird. i mean a 20 year old with a 42 year old?
weird.

It depends on how old you are and if you have had enough life experiences to make a lifelong decision to be with someone that much older.
You just need to ask yourself the hard questions and really be open to your answers and then decide.
Think about the long run with your head, not your heart. If your head matches what your heart is already saying, then no one can stop you from doing what you want to do.

It really depends on how old YOU are. If ur 18+ and hes like 40+ then more power to you for seeing beyond his age. If you are below the age of 18 then you have issues you need to resolve and he is a pedophile who belongs in jail.

There's nothing wrong. Just be aware that it will be hard later on in life. When he's old and you're not that old, you'll have to take a lot of patience with him. It's definitely not an advice for you to stop doing it, far from it. Just think it before commiting.
