Haha, did you ever get the right person for this question! ;)
There's a whole genre called folk metal and it's mostly about asatru and other pagan topics.
First and foremost, get Amon Amarth. Their earlier albums are quite brutal death, but their later stuff is much more melodic. My fave is "With Oden on Our Side".
They're not much of a sing-along band (more like roar along), but if you're searching for Asatru theme songs, look no further than the classics like "the sound of eight hooves".
If you like more epic, orchestral stuff, get Turisas: Battle metal. It's so complex, so beautifully written, ful of different instruments and crazy huge choruses...
Their newest album Varangian way is softer, slightly more poppy and progressive. I don't like it that much, but you might. (especially if you like Tyr, since they're quite progressive)
Vintersorg, Otyg and Storm (especially album Nordavind) are more folkish, not so very metal. They even have some acoustic songs, even just a drum and a guy singing in some crazy Norse language. Gives me shivers.
Maybe you would find a good singalong on one of these albums, if you're willing to sing in old Norse. We use one of their songs as a marching song in our medieval reenactment society.
Wintersun are okay, Ensiferum are more of an "average" folk metal, then you have all the melodic death metal stuff like Insomnium and Eluveitie....
Isengard are black viking metal.
If you're into power metal, get Manowar's latest album, Gods of War. It's a theme album about norse mythology.
If you have a taste for the older stuff, Bathory were the first band to start with viking topics in the 80's.
For something slightly funnier and more upbeat, get Fintroll (esp. albums Natfodd and Jaktens Tid) and Korpiklaani. Fintroll have an accordion in their music and they play some sort of a polka-death metal, it's SO funny and upbeat and ideal for headbanging.
Korpiklaani are just plain GOOD. They have a good upbeat feeling to their music, sometimes also slightly polka-ish, but in a good way. Very melodic, quite fast. Lyrics can be slightly silly, but I like them.
Now, if you want some germanic, celtic metal, get:
Heol Telwen, Menhir, Odroerir, Wolgemut...
for slavic pagan stuff get:
Saltus, Skyforger, Temnozor, Volkolak, Pagan Reign (slavic bands are often nazi, so be careful with the lyrics).
A couple of very good kinda-folkish bands:
In Extremo, they're one of the first ones, they use old folk songs and play them with guitars and distorsion plus all the weird instruments. They often take old medieval songs, even stuff like Carmina Burana. They have some GREAT sing-along. Get the album "Weckt die Toten!"
Corvus Corax - purely acoustic band, lots of pipes, flutes, drums and weird old instruments. There's a live album, just called "Live", from 1998, ideal for large groups shouting along inarticulatedy ;) Great medieval dance music.
Schandmaul - more melodic, almost pop at certain moments, but cool lyrics (in German, sadly). you MUST get the song Walpurgischnaht, it gives me shivers. I keep listening to it over and over again every eve before Beltaine.
Enough for the beginning? ;)

I found a website that has a few songs, chants, etc. Nothing like the band Tyr itself, but still good in my opinion. Not sure if that is what you are looking for as far as "Holy" songs... There are mp3's, midis, wavs, etc... and it has the lyrics. The second site has a few as well, but I haven't downloaded anything from it so I can't say how good any of it is. I enjoy Odins Gift. =)

Funny, I used to be in a choir, too. ;) Here's a traditional folk tune with excellent heathen sentiments. I consider it my personal anthem.
* * *
ONLY REMEMBERED
Fading away like the stars in the morning
Losing their light in the glorious sun
Thus will we pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered for what we have done
Only the truth in the life we have spoken
Only the seed that on earth we have sown
These shall pass onwards when we are forgotten
Only remembered for what we have done
Who'll sing the anthem and who'll tell the story
Will the line hold will it scatter and run
Shall we at last be united in glory
Only remembered for what we have done
