Before you stop and ask, my IQ is 167 on the Cattel, 141 on the Stanford-Binet, and 138 on the Weschler scale, with my highest scores being in Logic. I am Catholic.
Yes I completely understand the Big Bang Theory, the Theory of Evolution.
Here is my argument with why I am not an atheist:
1. I was raised with Catholic values (I'm 14)
2. I find that the theory is full of TOO many chance occurrences. The atheist argument requires you to basically assume that matter appeared without explanation, and all the matter that appeared spontaneously was compacted into one big "super atom" despite the fact that such forces as the weak force contradict it. The weak force is saying that atoms above the atomic number 83 polonium are unstable, and it has been proven that atoms above the atomic number 118 (ununoctium?) can't be assembled. If elements above the atomic number of 118 can't be assembled. then how were they able to form the "superatom" singularity?
There is also the radioactive decay facts.

If the half-life of Uranium 238 is 4.5 billion years, then how could you measure it? The life span of the average human is less than 100 years old. Proportions also require that you spend a proportional amount of time watching and analyzing it constantly. I would assume that the amount of time that it would take to accurately predict the half-life on the atomic level would take at least a hundred years.

I meant that in a collective sense to get my point across, not overgeneralizing at all. I wonder why you people focused on that rather than proving my FACTS wrong?

Evolution is the BIOLOGICAL branch of the atheist argument. Their argument expands into many fields of science. I already understand that as well. Well at least Jolly and a few others got what I was trying to say.

Not bad for 14 years old but the fact remains that you are still 14 and have not fully-applied the claimed intelligence to provide the real answers.
It is blatantly clear that we as a life-form don't know the answers to everything. That in itself does NOT mean that 'God did it'.
If you genuinely believe all the religious bunk rattled off to you as an impressionable child and have had your thinking processes locked due to that indoctrination at such an age, then I genuinely feel sorry for you.
If, however, you are now reaching the age of reason, as it would seem, apply your thinking processes to the probablity of reality rather than the alleged actions of an imaginary friend in the sky.
DO the research into the history of religion in the span of mankind's existence. Look beyond what you were taught to believe in.
Religion is a fascinating subject and a wonderful insight into the psyche of the human race but it is no more than wishful thinking and the result of man's need for a father-figure, a protector.
Incidentally, atheists do NOT believe that matter appeared from nowhere with no explantion. Big error. Huge.
Tell me why you are a catholic? I can tell you. A mere accident of geography. If you were born in India, you might well be a Hindu and be xtolling the virtues of any one of many gods with equal conviction. If born in Jeddah, there is no doubt that you would be a muslim. In Thailand, probably a Buddhist. It's all down to the deluded belief system of your parents and then your teachers.
Why do you not beleve wholeheatedly in Zeus, or Ra or any of the thousands of other similarly man-made entities that equally do not exist?
Look up the meaning of 'parochial' and apply it to your thinking.
You are trying very hard but methinks you try TOO hard. Life is much simpler once you accept reality and dump the ancient myths.
Late addition:
I note that you claim to 'fully understand' the Big Bang theory and the Theory of Evolution. Really? Truly? You're kidding, right?

I have NEVER believed that atheist were the only rational people. Generalize much do you? Someone with such a high IQ should know better than to stereotype a whole group of people.
You seem to be an intelligent person, but even the smartest of people are not always right. In addition, smart people can do some pretty dumb things.
EDIT
Atheism is the lack of belief in ANY gods or goddesses. It is not, in and of itself, a scientific view. Some may embrace science, but that is not true for all atheist. Nor is it a part of the atheistic philosophy.
Since you seem to assume that the Theory of Evolution is the "atheist argument" it seems appropriate to deal with your over generalization than your "facts." I am not a biologist. I am a middle school Language Arts teacher. I am not fully qualified to answer those questions.
Doesn't matter any way. You don't want to know. If you really wanted a scientific answer, you would have asked your question in the science section. You would have gone to the library and done some research. You posted your question here because you knew you would receive unsatisfactory, snarky answers. Then you could smugly sit back and say "see the atheist don't know what they are talking about." Which you would do even if you got a detailed answer to your questions because there would still be dozens of snarky, unsatisfactory answers.

Then you should look into the Super Sting theory and the not so singular singularity. Under the previous thoughts and calculations of the big bang the problems were not with the size nor was it assumed to be a "super atom". The major problems were with not being able determine what was happening at the time 0 of the expansion, This was mostly solved by string theory. String theory had a problem in that it resolved to 5 distinct theories, however Super String or M theory has resolved that.
You should also realize that neither "big bang" or evolution is dependant on the other i.e. in the unlikelyhood that people who went to school longer nearly as long as you have been alive and have been studying the problem for a similar time, have made a mistake in one, it will not translate to the other.
Native intellegence is one thing, but you need to expand your knowledge.

I respect people who believe on logical grounds that a "God" might exist, but to extrapolate that belief and say that the Christian God exists is silly, especially if you read the book of nonsense that is the Bible.
www.godisimaginary.com
Edit:
I also find this sentence particularly ignorant:
"If elements above the atomic number of 118 can't be assembled. then how were they able to form the "superatom" singularity?"
You obviously don't know the first thing about physics and big bang theory.
Also, how is "I was raised with Catholic values" an argument for God? You scored highest in logic? LOL
Anyway, as much as the Big Bang doesn't make sense to you, it did happen. Mathematicians and Astronomers are still trying to solve the underlying mathematics, but it HAPPENED. Not your Bible fantasy.

Peace, my young friend.
I do understand the source of your frustration with the so called rationalism of the atheists. In the end their logic is flawed and your spirit is telling you this.
Remember that Jesus taught us that the most important thing is love. Love of the Father and love of each other.
Many of the atheist arguments (in their own words and web sites) lie in the fact that the Father does not respond to them in the way they want. For example, they will tell you that you can test that prayer does not 'work' because you can measure that God does not give you what you pray for. Therefore, God does not exist.
The saints call this the prayer for mediocrity. Meaning that we pray like this: 'God you are all knowing, all powerful, all loving, but you need to make some changes....' Like we know better somehow.
You may not realize this but you have a love for the Father and express this love by trying to know the universe the way it really is. Your search for the truth will lead you to the Father.
Pray for your atheists brothers that the Father may give them his gift of faith.

No you don't understand the Big Bang at all. It in no way wants you to assume that matter appeared without cause, although that does happen on a quantum scale all the time. M Theory includes a cause and a description of what was here "before."
And the rest of that would argue against black holes as well. They can actually show you where those are, and you can observe them ripping apart stars.

Evolution is not an atheist argument, moron.
'Super atom' is a metaphor that has been dropped do deal with dullards like you; it does NOT mean to imply it was an atom in any way.
"Yes I completely understand the Big Bang Theory, the Theory of Evolution."
No, you don't; not even in the slightest. Go to school Mr. Smart Guy.

well i dont care what scale your iq is on your still ignorant because you say that atheist assume that matter appeared out of nothing......first of all atheist is a form of thought not a non relegion in itself.....so for u to assume that assumption on a group of people who dont inclide themselfs as a group is plain ignorant of you. secound of all if your assumption is correct well christians believe the same thing that god spit in some dirt and made clay and molded man and then we ended up in our present state........you speak as if your thoughts disproves atheist when in fact it empowers it. as for you being raised catholic no body really cares and your only 14 years old your just a kid........
as for your judgement on atheists believing that they are the only rational people that is not true but there you go once more assuming we are a group of people with the same thoughts and actions when we are not so. atheisim is the default and christianity is customary......... since you think you are so smart im sure you know what i mean because after all at the ripe age of 14 you know everything in the world about everything that ever even existed....correct????
my last thought is this...atheist dont claim to know how the world got like it is......christians on the other hand think their way is the only possible way when in fact it is not......
they ask atheists to disprove their god
but my question for you is this.......how can you disprove god when he has never been proven?????????

I stopped reading after you posted your "IQ" scores. Here's a tip - never start a conversation by telling everyone how "smart" you are. All it does is make you look like a snob, and possibly a fibber. Further - it doesn't matter to us why you're not an atheist. Further still, not ALL of us think we're the only rational people. As soon as you make a statement like that, you've lost any credibility your argument may have had for me. Smart people don't make spurious generalizations.

With that high IQ, you are stupid.
Atheists do not believe they are the only rational people in the world. What gives you the idea they think they are?
Anyway, I know some brilliant christians professors and I can tell you not even they understand the big bang theory and the theory of evolution completely. You are very arrogance to claim you had understood the theories completely.
-------
For yeahyeah ..... try the reverse.
--------
Evolution is NOT any branch of atheist argument ...... atheist argument is very simple ...... what is the evidence of god's existence?
Not all evolutionist are atheists and not all atheists are evolutionist. Wake up !!!!
